Well to warn you all first please overlook the front bumper and driver fender. This is from a hit an run that is under investagation so i cant fix it yet. The fender just needs to be pulled out and the bumper just needs new paint. Its not that bad it just looks like crap..

Also just some history on the car. Im the 2nd owner and from what i know the car has lived in the GA / SC area its whole life. The bad thing about the owners who had it before me put it threw somthing called GA clay. Its super great and there are some spots in the car that are never coming out. Also they never cared for the headlights but overall for a car with 128--- miles that never got repainted i would say its in good shape. ( at least for a 240sx)

Here are the before pics...

Yeah there bad i know...

I know this last one is out of place but its to show the headlights not the paint. Also it shows what the front end looked like before that drunk felt the need to run into me.

Step one..... Fix my yellow lights. (my body style 240 has really bad problems when it comes to the lights. Allmost every 240 will have the faded covers by now. They do make glass covers but for 500 a light they can go screw them self for that)

Did that by hand and got lazy so i went and got my friends polisher..

I hit the 15 max images per post anyways so it’s not a problem. I should so you some of the night shots I took of my car - friends cars.

Would look better if my front end wasnt chipping away :(

Well i had fun today...

Ill start with just washing no wax or anything else.

I used one of the MR. Clean magic eraser pads on the wheels. I think they work well if you have nothing else.

Nice!!! My first car was '95 240SX 5-speed. I really liked it. Rear wheel drive, handled the road pretty well.

Woo nice! I see a lot of junked up 240s. Yours is doing pretty well.

Thanks, I have the SE so it’s got the stiffer suspension and the yellow fog lights, Front lip, And VLSD. From what I have done it handles quite nice for a stock car. I can take turns at 90 where integras can’t do over 60.

I’m getting ready to swap in a 2JZGTTE so it should be quick after that. I think stock it will run low 12’s at 110+ on street tires.

Yeah a lot of people buy them to hop on the drift bandwagon. Something I never care to do with my 240. I was lucky with mine. I’m the 2nd owner, I got it cause a couple had the car and were about to have kids. Now I don’t know if you have ever tried to sit in the back of a 240 but it’s not fun. So they were selling it for cheap (3000) to buy something that they could all fit in. It was never raced or anything before I got it. That and they took good care of it from what I can see.

Oh yeah and i allmost forgot..

We have to keep that clean to.

My cousin got an SR20 dropped in his...since he lives in LA (lots of people in LA I guess are in the drift scene because of canyons) he's pretty much in the drift bandwagon too.

You got a clean engine bay right there!

If he’s out in Cali it must suck having an SR20 all he needs to do is get pulled and once they see that he’s SOL. The Sr20 isn’t a bad swap but im getting the Supra TT motor for 1800 dollars it’s pushing 300hp stock and can go right up by pushing the boost to 18psi. It’s a lot harder to install but it’s worth it for the money. After I swap the motor and do some brake and suspension work I want to repaint the car bayside blue (the stock Nissan skyline R34 blue).
