My buddy wanted to bring his '97 BMW back to life.
The paint was in really poor condition with swirls, webbing and a ton of RIDs. Knowing the car would see car washes after the correction, I aimed to correct but not to perfect.
The lineup of products for this job:

CG Mr. Pink
Nanoskin blue mitt
WG Uber Compound
PoorBoys Polish with Sealant
Collinite 845
Pinnacle AWC
DP Tire Cleaner
Optimum Opti-Bond
303 AP
Mothers APC
Woolite for leather
Solution Finish Black Restorer

The combination of UC / PB / 845 is extremely powerful. UC finishes very nice and Poorboys polish with sealant makes for a speedy process. Topping with 845 adds an incredible level of gloss and protection.

The interior saw a heavy vacuum and elbow grease. I used a light APC solution on the console to break the crud loose then put a light coat of 303 AP across the dash, console and door panels. The seats saw a light APC solution, woolite 1:10 and a light coat of 303 AP. This combo restored the interior without adding a level of gloss that screams "fake!"

Thanks!

You did a great job on the Bimmer mate ! Nice before & after shots .

Nice work. Couldn't agree more your product combo is very potent.

Outstanding work on what is most likely thinning clear coat! Is there ANY chance you can talk your friend into avoiding the auto washes? After seeing how stunning it looks now it would be a shame to see it ruined so fast.

Absolutley beautiful recovery.

Thanks all!

Yeah I asked to avoid the car wash as much as possible and do a proper wash. We'll see. I'm hoping to get about 3 months of coverage then hit it with a coat of 845 for the winter. Thats the best I think I could do with the thinning clearcoat. A light pass with the PBWS is possible too with a black pad, little to no pressure then top with 845 for the winter. I'll cross that bridge when we get there and I'll post an update.

Thanks again,
Nick
