Customer came to me with his 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 Work Truck. By "work" I mean, he uses the truck to haul fire wood, dump runs, and plow his and neighbors driveways. He keeps it garaged and for a 1997 it only had 57K miles!!! It was in great shape.

After inspection and because it's a work truck he didn't want full paint correction, rather just a AIO. During the VIF, I took paint measurements (6 per panel), and found readings between 60 - 110! Less as I went towards the back of the bed. I decided conservative was key here to mitigate risk. There were deep scratches, but we both decided to leave things as they stood after my section passes.

- After wheels, tires, wells, rinse, iron-x, wash, clay I got to work on a test spot.

- Engine: Risk mitigation due to the exposed wires for plow and outboard plow lights. I used DP Engine Degreaser (McKees), small Daytona Speed Brush, and steam. Then a wipe down with DP (now McKees) Trim Detailer.

- Ext. Trim, bumper's etc... Blackfire Trim.

- Tires: Pinnacle Black Onyx Tire Gel

- Int Glass / McKees chrystal vision; Ext: Pinnacle Glass w/ Water Repellent

- GG G-15 w/ LC 5.5 CCS Orange & HD Speed. I used 1 pad for the roof and two more for the hood.

- For the Vertical surfaces GG G15, and GG Orange BOSS Pads w/ HD Speed. I used about 4 BOSS Pads Total.

- LSP - GG G15 5.5 LC CCS Blue Pad - Pinnacle Liquid Souveran

There were still some light surface scratches, but I felt with readings down to 70 microns, I'd like to limit my risk. The first words out of the owners mouth when he saw the truck was "WOW!!! Now I need another work truck, this one is too nice".

Hats off to "Interior Gal", she did a bang up job on the interior, she handled the Tornador, Hot Water Extractor and all the glass and trim. I can't take credit for that. I got to get her on the forum! LOL.

NOTE: We had about 4 hours of sun so the after pic's are during an overcast day. It was between 34 & 48 degrees! Product was picky, condensation built from freezing and hands were cold! :-)

Enjoy:

Nice job,the pictures show the final touches like the wheel wells treated.a lot of of guys just focus on paint and forget the little things and the job looks boring and dull nice job.

Thanks V! Yes, Griot's has been very good to me. I'm slowly acclimating to the new Boss system. I'm not there yet.

Thank you Jeff! Coming from you, that means a lot. I highly value your opinion.

Great work you two did. All i can say is WOW. Amazing transformation. The 50/50 shots are amazing.

Beautiful work, Pauly G! Unfortunately i hope you have reconciled the fact it might return in a year tired from "working" again. That's ok...you get to do it again. Tell him not to put the plow up yet.

Stunning 50/50's!

Thanks Focus!

Looks great. I really like how the trim looks!

Thanks 7.3, I was really happy with the Blackfire AIO Trim & Protectant. It was my first time using it on a larger scale other than tires.
Very happy with how it came out.

Very nice work Paul! That truck looks new.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Mike!

Stunning 50/50's!

Thanks Puckman. The owner actually emailed me yesterday saying he put the truck back to work and it got dirty. But as a car care gift package from LSN, he received;
- Two 5 Gal Buckets
- Two Grit Guards
- 1 Micro-Chenille Wash Mitt
- 3 Oz sample of Pinnacle Body Shampoo
- 3 Oz sample of Pinnacle Liquid Souveran
- Two New Gold Plush Jr. MF Towels
- Two new Bulk MF Towels
- One Black MF Towel
- 1 32 OZ Bottle filled with Megs D114 1:128

He said he tried the two bucket method and got the truck back to looking new again! And no worries, he's thrilled and will be back next year, here at LSN we aim to please! :-)
