1998 Dodge Dakota Sport - Lots of pictures

CalgaryDetail - Yea, it was about time...just haven't had much time lately. Thanks for the compliment buddy, greatly appreciated.

Holy crap, Carlos! Awesome turnaround. Like a few have said here....he didn't let anyone touch his baby? Looks like no one, including him, washed or did anything to it from day one! How could you treat your "baby" like that?
Those wheels were really nasty, but you cleaned them up real nice. Always love those 50/50 pics. You brought back the shine to that truck. Nasty CC failure though. I couldn't believe that hood, and roof shot after your wash. Looked like one wet puddle on the roof....but that was CC! You went thru 2 bars of clay? Wow!
You busted butt on that one. Great job!!

Speechless NICA !! Very nice turnaround for such a filthy animal. I enjoy your in depth picture tutorials and use of the menz line. I will one day break out my menz collection, but I really don't have a use for it with all the wash and vacs.

Love the roof transformation! Nice work bud.

alban61 - Thank you for the compliment my friend, very much appretiated. As for the owner, I don't know what to say...I mean before I got on to AG I thought I was picky with my vehicles and would wax it every weekend and wash it at least twice a week and like I said I thought I was taking care of my baby....but everyone takes care of there "baby" in many different ways I guess lol...seriously don't know what to say lol...but thank you for the compliment buddy :grouphug:

ehuth1 - Glad you enjoy the number of pictures I post...man I look back and I sometimes shake my head at my self lol. My wife tells me that if I took less pictures that I could probably get the job done faster. I just smile and keep on taking pictures :o....what can I say I have a thing for pictures. I wish I could take better pictures though. A co-worker that is a photographer on the side (kinda like me detailing on the side) is trying to teach me some tricks but I need a better camera first....bla..bla...bla...listen to me rant...sorry. Any who glad you enjoyed it and you will love using the Menzerna line up, I enjoy using every time and I got other polishes that I "should" be using but I favour Menzerna so much that I've now stoped purchasing other polishes.

Great Job on the detail!!!
The truck looks like it was washed with a scotch brite pad! Even in some of the afters there are a lot of RIDS! You had to be pretty brave to take on a detail like this one! Congrats on gaining a new client!

WOW that is EXACTLY the look I want on my tires. I guess I will have to order some optimum! :D If only the optimum team could hurry with the OCW imporvments :( haha.

Carlos! I'm back buddy!!! Man you can detail my vehicles anytime! My expert buddy!!!!!
That thing is ram pretty!

sneek - Glad you like the detail buddy, you know me...always looking for something to detail :o. As for the Optimum, yea I'm really satisfied with it. I really like the way it leaves the tires/wheel wells. It's as though there is nothing there but yet it gives it a distintive look...hard to describe but truly a great product.

sparkie - My bro, compadre, main man sparkmyster....nice to see you back in the forum bro. I hope all is well with you and your family. I've mist you buddy, did you get my e-mail ;) ? I hope you liked it it was joe.P that put me up to it hahahahaa. Thank you for the compliment buddy, very much appretiated and glad to see you back :grouphug:

No bro did not get it? Did get one from Joe.
[email protected] is this the one you sent it to?

Wow what a great job Nica :D Looking at the wheel cleaning, it makes me want to try my P21S already...I might use it tomorrow morning :). So you even polished where there was no clear coat?

Another VERY nice job Carlos :D I love reading your write-ups and looka at all the nice pictures (Its not to many, maybe to few? :p) This was a job I like, its nothing like starting with something really bad. Then you can really test yourself, thats great!

Do you think the color pigments in the paint are damaged, so maybe in a month the roof and hood will start to be oxidant again? Seen that before..

Thanks for the good reading a earli saturday morning! Can`t wait for the next thread buddy :awesome:

This may have been your most dramtic turn around to date. The B/A and the 50/50 pics really tell the story. The owner should have been estatic with the way that Ram came out. Your skills and knowledge are very impressive and the proof is in the pics. You can never have too many pics.;) Thank you for another wonderful write-up. I always feel like you're telling a story when I read your write-ups. All of your stories have a happy ending!

Nica,

You always do good work, but with this one you reached a new echelon of detailing. No disrespect to others on this forum, but it would be difficult to find another review and turn around that could top this one. You sir have become a detailing god!

Wow, if that's his kid I guess you are like social services rescuing it from the hands of neglect. I really like how you turned the areas with the clear failure around - that's incredible!

Nica, you are always so polite and supportive of the others on this forum, it's great to see you show some of your own work so we can return the favor because that was an incredible job!

Nica, every time I see you are posting, you are doing some awesome detailing! Great job on that truck!

nica great job i would have taken pressure washer and apc cleaner to whole truck inside&outside just joking

Another amazing detail by one of the best on this forum!

Nica, you said that the owner never let anyone touch his vehicle, but it certainly seemed that included himself since it was in such CRAP shape when you received it.

What an amazing turnaround, congrats!!!
