Did a paint correction today on a 1998 Yamaha VMAX. The bike is garage kept and fairly clean. So I wiped down the paint with Meg's last touch Detailer. I then Clayed the painted surfaces using a Nanoskin fine grade clay rag.
After the paint was free of contaminants I started with a 3" Lake County orange cutting pad using M101 Foam Cut Compound with my GG3. After about 3 applications the paint was swirl free!
I then changed pads to a 3" Lake County blue polishing pad using M205 Ultra Finishing Polish to bring out the gloss and color definition.
I sealed my work with Colinite 845 using a microfiber applicator. This correction brought the depth and color of the paint back not to mention the flake. :xyxthumbs:
Forgot to take a before of the tail.
