Looks great Nica! Nice to see you putting everyone to work. The sun sure looks bright in your garage. Did you turn the owner into any autogeek?

That's funny Gary. That's the first thing that I thought while reading your review Carlos, Why pull it out in the sun. Looks great. You sure gave those guys something to think about for a lifetime.

Very nice work Nica, like always ;) There is nothing like reading your writeup, and the pictures? I love it :righton: Looks like I need to try black again, sounds amazing. Oh, one tip for you, I see you tape the window washers etc? I like to take a old sheet or something like that, and put over the windshield, take less time and covers everything. Just a tip buddy :) anyway, the car came out GREAT! Its fun to teach owners how to take care of their own car. The interior was nasty, that water wasen`t a nice sight.

Loved the video ;)

Nica, I got to admit, I just love you detail posts. Lot of pics:D , and for those who have dial up - sucks; time to upgrade to high speed internet;) .
Very well job done, bro. Love all the details you show. I too really like Mothers back-to-black, as it seems to me quite durable, but not as good as Duragloss. I see you also had a smart idea for interior wipe down with a bucket of water/apc as that interior was dirty.

Apologize in advance but have to ask Nica.

quite durable, but not as good as Duragloss

Which DG # Supercharged? Seems like there are a couple of different ones that guys use on trim. May have to try it on my Expy.

I seen your post last night, could not reply due to wife said "time for bed"! Got to keep the little lady happy. When she's happy I'm happy;)

Well my brother Carlos expert detailer, Did you have permission to take the bra off? :D A little joke... Man oh man you made that van look better then new. It's like night and day on the job you done. Boy I know that was a lot of work, glad they chip in and help you out.
Did they want a discount or something?:D Just messing with you...
The before and after pics looks like a different van. Got to give you 5 stars on this detail....Your work is Inspiring!:applause:

Carlos..First off...Nice write up....

Now...You did a Fantastic job on the all parts of the Van..plus your helpers did a fine job also....

the engine looks new..the interior is awesome....and the Silver paint is glowing....one of the best silver shots I have seen in awhile....

Your outcomes get better and better with your posts....you have been doing some nice paint magic ....

Great Job

Al

matteo86 - Glad you liked the detail, I can't get enough of the Menzerna products. It's my go to polish. Now what does Power Gloss compare with?...mmmm...well I've only tried SSR1 (I think) and I've used Optimum Hyper Compound and Power Gloss Compound blows both of them, in my opinion. Power Gloss Compound dusts lots but it doesn’t bother me at all, I'll keep using it. I hope this helps a little, if you have more questions feel free to ask I'll answer as best as I can. The garage, it's coming along I need to do the floor. Once I do the floor it will change the appearance again of the garage.

joe.p - Thank you for the kind words bro, means allot to me. Glad you enjoyed it. The turn around inside and out was quite nice, inside though man does it ever look good oh and the owner loved the smell of Meg's #40, he said he will pick some up locally.

Tonya - Thank you Tonya, you do some very nice work too. I saw what you did to the boat and that's quite the job, thank you for the kind words and glad you liked the pictures. I tend to over do it but glad you liked them. Oh the Black Again product is great, I'll be using this product I'm just hoping it lasts too.

Jimmie - lol..yea I got enough lighting in there that I don't really need to take pictures outside...oh and considering the sun was going down it probably looks better in the garage lol. Yup, father and son sure enjoyed them selves. I'm sure they will be doing it together from here on in, well at least that was the plan.

pirex - Hey bro, thank you for that tip. I got an old towel that I keep forgetting to use on the windshield, I'll have to remember your tip for the next one. Always love tips bro, if you got any more feel free to send them my way. Glad you liked the pictures, you know me I always over due it in pictures but I enjoy pictures and glad you liked the video just thought it would be different.

supercharged - Ooooh you just reminded me, I should put a warning about the amount of pictures on my posts :o. Glad you liked it bro oh but the product I used was Black Again not Mothers....sorry I may have confused my self, I may have said Back to Black but I meant Black Again. I got in to the habit of giving the vehicles a wipe down prior to dressing the interior and it makes a big difference, the water says it all :D. Glad you liked it bro and thank you for the compliments.

sparkie - My main man, my home boy, the slamming, jamming, crock dude!!! I know what you mean about keeping the wife happy ;). lol..oh no I didn't ask for permission about removing the "bra", you know I figured since I'm was already man handling the vehicle I felt confident enough to step up on removing the bra, why not worst I would have gotten would be a slap but no slap hahahahah :D lol. Glad you liked it bro and I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures, 5 stars...oh come on bro I'm just trying to keep up with everyone here, you know got to make sure I keep up with the pack not fall behind. Thank you for the kind words my friend, truly appreciate the feed back bro.

Al-53 – Thank you Al for the kind words my friend, really means a lot to me. Glad you liked the detail. Yes, I agree having helpers is fun and they did do a good job too. The owner was worried that they would be getting in my way and I just told him to watch what I did and then I saw them do it and a way we went. Owner wanted to improve his detailing ability too so it was a win win situation for both of us. Glad you like it Al and thank you for your kind words. Hey you know what they say, practice makes perfect. Maybe one day I'll be as knowledgable and as skilled as you and Master Toto :D but I got a long way to go yet, so I'll keep on reading and lots of detailing :righton:

No problem Nica :D it's great you taught them some great detailing tips. It's really fun detailing with other people who are into detailing as well! I bet the people over at the UK are even more serious than us :p. I wish people down in California were more passionate about their cars, then people wouldn't be parking like whackos giving only like 1 ft of space to open the door. At my community college, people walk around with their backpacks rubbing on people's cars :( and sometimes with their keys hanging out their pockets hitting/rubbing other cars as well.
