I have actually been detailing on my own car for a while now, spent countless hours reading threads, this site is amazingly helpful. I have a PC 7424 with the Xmt line and PB SSR line of swirl removers. Although my question does not concern swirls. I recently purchased the Wolfgang/Pinnacle kit. I already have the Wolfgang glaze, it says it contains mild abrasives. Is there any place to fit it in. Anywhere in between the Wolfgang paintwork polishing enhancer and Wolfgang sealant 3.0. or would it go before the polishing enhancer. Or would it defeat the purpose of the polish or vise versa. I would be doing all of this after the clay/scratch removal. TIA!

For the wolfgang stuff, the order is total swirl remover, finishing glaze, paintwork polish enhancer, deep gloss sealant.

The hardest thing to remember is the Finish Glaze is actually the light polish. The paintwork lotion is simply a chemical based paint cleanser. Alot use one versus the other, considering if they have a buffer or hand.

Killr, in your opinion with the use of the Porter Cable which one would you use? Btw it would be used a black car if that makes any difference.

and I know black car=Souveran, already got it! ha

It really depends on the finish and its needs. The Wolfgang polishes (TSR, FG) both work well on PC with high speed and smaller 5.5 pads. The paintwork lotion can be used with PC on slower speed but more to remove old waxes and contamination versus any real swirls.

Which in the Wolfgang line would work well as a paint cleaner? The swirl remover, or the glaze/polish? My paint's in great shape already, I just want to clean the paint and start fresh.

WG Finishing Glaze is an amazing product. Produces a stunning finish right before wax/sealant.

Thanks for the answer. I guess I'll have to buy some one day. I purchased the Flex/Wolfgang kit and it didn't come with it. Oh well. LOL
