Look @ my previous post, above yours.
If that's the adapter you got then it's for your DA to accept a rotary BP.
for your DA you don't need an adapter if you get DA backing plates.

BTW what did you end up getting besides the GG6?
 
OP, spend the extra $$$ and get the 25' hardwired extension cord through Griots for your 6" RO;)

The pice in question is the Rotary BP extension. Its already back on its way to AG.

I wanted a extension for the ROP so that that there was more space between the pad and the ROP so I could see better. No one sells them. If after doing my 1st polish I feel it would still be beneficial Ill make one myself out of a long nut, all-thread/cut off bolt and a dab of JB weld.
