1st time polishing paint. What do you think?

The only issue that I see with purchasing a pre-owned vehicle is that you don't know what kind of treatment/abuse it has had, especially on the paint. We have all seen Toto demonstrate what he has to do to the paint with all those pre-owned BMW's. But then again if you just get a year old car you still have majority of the warranty and you benefit on not paying the full amount.

I don’t know if this is true or not but I was told by a friend of mine who owns an M5's and he was telling me that the engines are test driven first then taken apart/rebuilt for adjustment and then sold to the customer. If this is true then I can see the M5 being an immaculate car. Like I said I don't know if this is true or not, I'm only going from what my friend told me. I've been reading some on the M5's but haven’t come across this weather its true or not. Maybe some of you M5 owners can tell me if this is true or not.

Wow, build the engine just to put it back together again? Seems like an expensive process!
