Could I get some advice on a multi stage paint correction for dark blue metallic paint on a gmc sierra. Wash with dawn first time, iron x, then autoscrub. Thought about using m105/m205 and PO85RD but what told the PO85RD was overkill. cquartz on tire, trim and chrome. I am gonna use 22ple on paint, what would be a good wash and quick detailer to use to maintain Going to buy a DA polisher

I'm assuming that you have a dual action polisher and foam pads?

After doing some reading i have decided against m105 since im a noob with a DA. Can you recommend a AIO or Mulit stage easy for beginners. I have a lot of swirls in paint its dark blue metallic 08 gmc sierra. Want to get rid of all those swirls and have a mirror finish.

A nice 1-step product that corrects and protects.

Duragloss #501

Two over the counter products that have direct lineage to Meguiar's M105 and M205.

Meguiar's Ultimate Compound

Meguiar's Ultimate Polish
 
Being A gmc....the paint runs on the hard side

so here is recomendations...........Megs MF system and skip the the finishing polish and use m205.

if the D300 isn't enough to remove the swirls then use uc( Megs ultimate comound).

then top it with whatever your heart desires.
 
What pads should i use with UC and UP? Orange and White?
