1st Winter Wash of the Season - How is your Winter Wash this year

Based on some of the responses in this thread, I don't have it that *bad*. Seems like some don't have access to a water source @ home, in the replies of 1st pass HP rinse and then RW afterwards, etc. To me, that means it get's almost as *mucked up* the minute it leaves the coin up. It's cleaner but it just picks up some level of filth simply on the way home

I enjoy a salt free car for a day or 2 before it leaves the house.....
I don't even need to drive it....if it sits outdoors, it get's the white dust all over it in itself.
That's why re: the OP, manytimes I often wonder why bother...(chassis desaltification aside)

I used the BH touchless last year once in a IK 12 foamer. It worked really well, stripping my plastic trim of whatever I had on it. I believe it was a combination of Wolfgang exterior trim sealant and CarPro darkside.
After that I decided I went overboard when I bought a gallon. Hell I even mixed it weaker than suggested.
Maybe on a work van it would be ideal but I would really rather not notch down my coating in winter just trying to make it look shiny for 5 minutes.
I did use the BH touchless on my steps berber carpet and it worked really well....lol

What ratio did you end up using

I think it was about 2 ounces.
It works good but I don't want to chance degrading any LSP on the paint or trim. It made the cladding on my X1 look like dookie which set off the bells and whistles for me.
I used this from their site......... then multiplied by six which is the useable capacity of the sprayer.
  1. As an illustration, a 1-Litre sprayer employed on a heavily soiled vehicle requires the addition of 20ml of TOUCH-LESS to its water.
Maybe I did the full monty at 4 ounces,?? it was a year ago kind of a fog at this time.
Either way it doesn't really fall into my regime.
