If you're looking for a product that leaves a GREAT interior finish, look no further. It darkens the finish to a nice, clean, fresh look without that greasy shine. It leaves a beautiful matte finish!

I haven't tested it's cleaning ability on a dirty interior, because I've only used it on my car. I have a feeling it's cleaning ability is very light, though. Also, does it have any UV protectant in it?

FWIW, I'm going to pick up CG inner clean to compare.

Lower/mid cleaning ability and, yes, has UV protectant. Like it, too.

Inner Clean works about as well but has a pineapple/peach fragrance. Like it, too.

Mark - I have the 1Z CP and will say it will clean light dirt. Very good for dusting and I agree the matte finish is agreeable.

Inner clean promotes UV protection, while 1Z does not. Inner Clean may have better UV protection??

How does the finish compare of the two? If you had to pick only one, which of these would you choose, and why? :xyxthumbs:

Hi Mark, as the others have said, Cockpit Premium has UV protection in it. If you need a stronger interior cleaner, use Plastic Deep Cleaner. It can remove heavy grime and light scuff marks.

Hi Mike, thanks for chiming in!!! :dblthumb2:

The only reason I was going to try CG inner clean is because I wasn't sure if CP has UV protection. Well, it does, so I'm going to cancel the Inner Clean.

Thanks again. :dblthumb2:

I'm not good with durability questions. ;) If stuff stays on my car for more than a couple of weeks, that is a long time. Only see most of my customers once per year so hard to judge. I'm planning on using grungy as my test bed.

The finish is identical - factory matte. I generally won't use anything else.

I prefer the industrial clean smell of 1Z but not enough to pay more for it.

Only 1? Depends on if for my car or customers. I have no customers willing to pay extra for boutique products so they get Megs QID. (I use boutique products on my cars.) Inner Clean by the gallon is reasonably close to QID.

Maybe the interiors that I have cleaned aren't as bad as some of the other people because I find 1Z Cockpit Premium to have great cut. Rarely do I have to reach for 1Z Deep Plastic Cleaner, but when I do it's coupled with a stiff nylon bristle brush (Mothers).

Mark, I have used a few interior cleaners and APC's diluted for interior use but still reach for 1Z CP the most. In fact in a couple weeks I will be ordering the 10L jug because it's my favorite. I just picked up some CG Nonsense and used it 4:1 over the weekend with pretty impressive results on the exterior. This week I will be testing it 10:1 and 20:1 on the interior. I have a customer that is very sensitive to scents so I picked this up for her specifically.

hey now.. I resemble that remark!:xyxthumbs:

I have used the 1Z in my SUV, but the wife does not care for the smell. I is expensive for what it does as Woolite at 20:1 is basically just as good for pennies per gallon.

1Z Cock Pit is my favorite on interiors. My wife and I like it so well we bought the 10L container which may last us a lifetime. Love the scent of this product!

I wish 1Z offered an air freshener with this scent

My favorite interior product. Wow's me every time i use it.

Have you considered Blitz? I think you'll find it more cost effective and versatile than Woolite. It's a concentrated low alkaline detergent that can be used on paint, plastic, upholstery, and fabrics. It doesn't have any protective properties like Cockpit or a finish but it cleans very well and has a light scent.

Some uses:

- Clean plastic, vinyl trim
- Upholstery/carpet cleaner
- Laundry detergent (even for sensitive fabrics including microfiber towels) - 1-2 capfulls per load
- Headliner cleaner
- Leather Cleaner

Dilution ratios range from 1:10 - 1:200 (when used with an extractor).
Here's a full range of dilution ratios (Technical Data Sheet).

Available in 1 liter and 10 liter sizes (10 liter available in a week)

I like Blitz a lot - on my cars. However, if his wife doesn't like the smell, it is awfully similar to 1Z CP.

I really like EinZett's lubricants. I need to get into their other products now, as I'm sure they hold the same quality.

I use Megs QID and buy it by the gallon, for those who want that matte factory look and finish. How does 1Z cockpit premium differ in terms of looks, smell and cleaning ability. I have used QID to clean some dirty interior panels and it did a great job.

QID has a little more cleaning ability, lighter fragrance (though somewhat similar), and same matte factory finish.

Dirty panels I'll clean first with Megs APC+, CG Nonsense, 1Z Blitz or Woolite.

The one thing I've noticed is how awesome 1Z works on the monitor screens in vehicles. Some cleaners tend to screw up the protective coating on them. 1Z works extremely well on restoring them.

Hmmm, not sure about that. CP has a citrus scent while Blitz has a soapy fragrance. BTW, first whiff of Blitz out of the bottle is very concentrated but after diluting it's a lot lighter.

1Z cockpit premium is an A+ product! It was the first product I bought on AG and its the most user friendly interior product..you can spray it EVERYWHERE..If some gets on the windows its ok..non greasy.

As mentioned, it works great on the Nav Screen and everywhere else inside!

If you don't like the scent, no worry...it doesn't last long.
