I used to polish wax and glanz wax on my mom's car and they worked great. Her car is not cleaned very often and the clear had imperfections in it that the combo took them almost all the way out and I was using it by hand. One reason to use by hand is that it says on the bottles that it will stain trim so be careful. All in all I was very pleased with them as well as a friend of mine that used them on his wife's expedition and they worked wonders on her vehicle. It sits outside and looked like crap but he used the polish and glanz,in that order, and that expedition came out great.
about staining trim, I just wanted to try and help here. I have a lot of time using both the Glanz Wax and the Polishwax. Neither of them will stain trim, or plastic. I can absolutely confirm that about these 2 products.
The paint polish may stain the trim, but i'm not sure on that, as I have never used it extensively and cant remember how the process went the last time I did. The polishwax is a fantastic cleanerwax , especially when used with a PC and white pad. You can turn pads brown/black when doing a car that see's a lot of highway use in a city.
something to remember when trying there 3 products,
paint polish
polishwax
glanz wax,
is that all of there non-professional based products have a dash of there lackfinish sealant in them and are very easy to work with for beginners. You can let the polish dry to a slight haze and them remove. BUT on the opposite end, you want to follow there directions closely for removal, as there new formula products dry rapidly, so if you apply a light even coat they will flash up and dry within a minute of so, so go panel by panel with the glanz wax.
The Glanzwax is VERY durable and extremely slick. Even when compared with the most popular sealants on Autogeek. So for the winter months I put 2 coats of Glanzwax on all 5 cars that I maintain. Its very detergent resistant and will even last through multiple auto carwash's.
They have a couple products that really stand out, but in general every product they offer here has always produced expected results or better when trying.
My favorite's are
-1z perls carwash for occasional use - it adds a very good amount of depth and decent temporary protection. The car will look like it was just waxed, especially if your paint is a dark color.
1z cockpit premium - fantastic interior cleaning ability and nice matte finish and scent.
1z interior deep cleaner - incredible product with amazing cleaning ability for plastics, which also leaves a matte finish, but the scent is not that great. I do not think you can find a safer plastic cleaner that has the strength this one has. it works better than anything you can find to clean plastic windows on convertible tops.
1z vinyl rubber care protectant - superior exterior protectant to anything I have tried. leaves a satin finish and will stay on the car plastic for atleast 2 months beading the entire time. This is a product that I would love to see more people try and write reviews on here. If someone is interested I could send a sample to them.
1z gummi - rubber seal treatment that works extremely well, but because of the bottle sponge tip and having to wait for it to dry before wiping down, can be a little bit of a pain to use. The 1z rubber car protectant that i last described has similar properties and can be used in place of the gummi. So i would suggest the rubber care spray instead to kill 2 birds with one stone.
1z leathercare - great product for leather that is in good condition
1z spray wax - fantastic for door jambs and anywhere else its hard to get into with a wax applicator. does have protection, and a very deep gloss.
1z blitz - i got a bottle recently and am still testing trying to safely test it out and find its ability to clean safely. Its a good APC that is supposed to be a bit safer to use for a regular consumer. I do know its a fantastic Microfiber towel soap to use in a washer machine. great scent as well.
