I see this product gets really good reviews on this forum. Its product description states it a cleaner only. I get the impression that people use this as their only

interior product as far as dashboard, doors, console etc... goes. Is this right or are you applying a protectant after? Thanks

This does have a slight uv protectant in it. It is like Meg's QID. It is a good cleaner and a protectant.

I'm looking forward to get this product soon.

I like this product alot. It keeps your interior looking original, no gloss and no grease just a brand new look. And it smells good.

I'm sure it's awesome. But until someone convinces me it does something Meg's QID does not, I will stick with Meg's.

It is designed for those that want a clean fresh finish with absolutely no additional looks.

I have NEVER seen this products equal period... I have used it for years and it is the best product for interior(dash, console, trim etc). Buy it now you will love it. It also has a nice citrus scent. I think other than a leather product this and plexis(for instrument clusters) is the only thing I use anymore.

Yes, this exactly why it interests me. My problem is that I would use on my dd that will sit in the sun 5 days a week while I'm at work. I'm using BF interior prot now

and it have a very low sheen but no scent. i like a little scent to know I did something (weird I know). I'm thinking about Wg int prot...any other suggestions.

Low sheen, high uv protection, fresh smell?? Thanks

for low sheen, UV protection and fresh smell you should check out Chemical Guys "Inner Clean".

I feel it has more cut than Meg's QID, but that is based on the OTC version. I have not tried the "Detailer" version.

I like it so much I bought 10 liters. Quite possibly a lifetime supply!

I haven't noticed any darkening or a low gloss Mark. Maybe when first applied and still wet, but not after it dries. Natural looking finish I agree.:xyxthumbs:
Scott,

I respectfully disagree. 1Z CP does darken the finish, but maintains a low gloss, natural looking finish. Love this stuff!

It's awesome stuff, but for a car that sits in the sun during the day I wouldn't place much faith in UV protection from it.

If you want to protect the dash of a car that sits in the sun without additional looks added, then cleaning with Cockpit Premium then protecting with Ultima Interior Guard Plus would be the way to go.

In extreme conditions, IMO window tint and a windshield screen would be best.

Ron, I did a 50/50 on my Vette's dash, and there was a noticeable difference at the tape line, even after it dried. Not a huge difference, but there was some. It does leave a nice finish.

Like tires, some interiors will absorb more than others and give off a different look.
