2 Basic Maintenance Wash Questions

I have personally ditched the 2BM almost entirely, and gone over to rinseless washes for almost everything. Even if I have to use a pressure washer to knock off heavy dirt/mud, I still go back to a rinseless for the actual wash. Reason being is that when using the Garry Dean method, I've experienced basically zero wash induced marring. The fact that you're ALWAYS using fresh media and a used towel never goes back in the wash water means that you're not dragging any dirt around on your paint. Period. I bought 10 ultra high quality edgeless microfibers(from another site, not here) and dedicated them strictly to rinseless washes. Works great.

I actually got to try this out for the first time just a few minutes ago. Stopped by the car wash to spray off dirt and went home for a rinseless. I did not notice any scratching at all. I'll check again in the sun tomorrow.
Also an update. I bought a new microfiber chenille wash mitt. haven't used it yet but hope it helps with my 2 BM woes. Oh and grit guards.
