20 and counting

I was kidding about going up on price when they ask for a discount but it does make my decision to not take them on as a client a lot easier...I detail to pay for my toys...

I know what your saying on offering people discounts, it's a slippery slope, and an upgrade instead is a good idea. People that specifically ask for discounts are not my ideal customer at all, but someone who is calling around for info and doesn't ask for a discount might be a much better potential customer.

I'm in a pretty small market with only three or four other legit detailers within two hours of me, so there's not a ton of places for a customer to call (only one other mobile guy). A simple quick text with 10% off or a free upgrade might be all it takes to swing them back to me. I may try testing it out during these slower winter months.

I'm in the process, I have a shop being built. I was supposed to be in back in October, now they tell me first couple weeks of January. It's frustrating.

I'm still contemplating how I make the transition though. I'd love to be 100 fixed, but I know that many of my customers like the mobile aspect. It's a work in progress with my head :)

The joys of non stop thoughts on ever angle and possibilities lol.

What are thoughts on creating a smaller lesser package to fit a budget? On a whim not advertised!

I think my last post got misinterpreted because I missed the %. I want to be 100% fixed location (no mobile service), but making the transition seems difficult and I don't want to lose customers. That's what I'm struggling over in my head. Sorry about the confusion.

Oh no need lol. I see that as an even bigger dilemma with trying to figure out.
