I've been coming here for just under 3 years and posting regularly for roughly the last 15 months. This thread marks my 2000th post. I just wanted to give a special thanks to the forum mods, all the great customer service personnel at AutoGeek, and the awesome members here who have contributed so much to my knowledge and understanding of the art of detailing.

Professionally, I started offering "full details" for $125 with my arsenal of OTC products, a Shop Vac, and a Turtle Wax 1-speed orbital. I was your typical hack... The products I use now cannot be purchased locally and I'm sure many of the the local shops have never even heard of them. Over the years through my own experience, and with a significant wealth of knowledge gained on this discussion forum, I have grown from my humble beginnings up to offering full paint correction and ceramic coatings not available by any of my local competition.

Detailing is my passion. There is nothing else in my life, in terms of work, that I can honestly say I am exceptional at. Still, at the same time I understand that I still have so much to learn and experience. I'm looking forward to participating here for a great while. In the future I hope to learn from, share with, and teach others who have the same passion for detailing as I do.

Thanks for reading my 2000th post and shine on my forum friends!

^ Detailing is my passion too, I found AGO and discovered other members here are just as passionate too, my gf and family was getting fed up with Detailing talks with me Lol

I have the app so I am on it all the time. I'm at my kids football game they are about to start in 30 mins. So will be gone then but then i'll be back

I never used Turtle wax, I always used 3M and Meguiar's, but there is a lot of stuff I learned on here. Least aggressive method, clay. DA's, pricing etc...

Your funny Albert lol, I actually don't mind your sense of humor at all, it's good to laugh every once in a while. :D

I think I am going with the Rupes next month man. I'll hit you up about it when the time comes around.

Did you watch the Sunday morning cartoons Albert? Pokemon? Also jk :D

Good story Nicholas :props:

Yo my name is Nicholas, and this is ridiculous,
Got mad gummy money and this is deliciousness...

Anyways, congrats on the post count and I always enjoy the work you put out with such professionalism. Keep it going and looking forward to see how far you go in this business.

Congratulations!

I for one appreciate your contributions to this forum and really appreciate the professionalism you display in all your posts and willingness to help others with their detailing projects.

Thank You!

I have a write-up I'm working on and in it I give you due credit for hard work and contributions. Might not be able to get to it till next week though.

Sorry for the typo, too late to edit.

Thanks Mike, and thanks everyone! Looking forward to the write up. Without your plethora of knowledge shared on this site I wouldn't be where I am today. I'm glad to have been able to reciprocate some tips and tricks!

Dogfather, you shouldn't have said anything. I would be doomed without spell check! If it doesn't have a red underline it counts!!! :props:
