used udm and black ccs pad... I never apply wax by hand. takes too long, let machine do work. i always buff with mf

I understand what you mean about letting the machine do the work but what about those hard to reach spots where the pad can't get to? Do you jus apply by hand? Just wondering as that's the only thing holding me back from using the machine to apply wax.

ok gotcha.. misunderstood. I pop the pad off the udm and use wax on that pad... no reason to get another pad dirty. then pop it back on and keep going at it. also on the doors where the panel meets glass, i angle the UDM so only a portion of the pad hits paint. you come up with creative ways of doing things when your lazy like me... effective resutls, minimal effort!!

Okay, yea I can see that...mmmmm...something to try out now :D. Thanks for sharing bro :righton:

Some of those pictures, looks like a completely different color afterwards. Great job.

would have to slap if not getting 5.7! :p Crewmax texas edition i believe, don't remember which color. I want nautical blue, 4x4, texas edition, with rear view camera so i stop running into my trailer!!!
Looks nice D2G! Very nice write-ups. New Tundras are strong looking trucks. I can't wait to see what the Big 3 (well were big 3) with answer it with. I have read and heard Dodge may up the 5.7 hemi to possibly 5.8 or 6.1 with some improved efficency and more hp and torque than Tundra. Also '09 or '10 1500's(both dodge and chevy) and the f-150 will be getting diesel. Thats what I am waiting for.

WOW! That's pretty sweet. But if you always wait, there will always be something more, and more expensive. I'm doodled with the idea of a diesel, but more for upkeep. i was hoping they would have an E-85 Tundra. But oh well...

I find the phrase grease monkey offensive. My dad raised 11 kids working as a mechanic. Maybe I am just sensitive as he just passed away a couple years ago.
