-Chemical Guys Innovate Paste Wax 8oz = $2,499
It does come in a really techie/autogeeky type container. Hex bolts and wrench included!

-In 2002 Gold was around $300/oz.

-Who wants to go in halvsies or better yet thirtysecondies with me? JK

-I read people's complaints about paying $20-40 for 8oz of better quality carnauba. What will they think of this price.

-List off the most expensive wax/sealant/coating in your cabinet.

-Mine, BFWD all finish sealant $39.99 for 16oz on sale for $32. Purchased on AG. A miserly $2/oz. BTW the stuff rocks!

Oh Chemical Guys... you and your $1K+ waxes. Good or bad, it gets people talking.

Sonax Polymer Netshield, $28 for 7oz
$4 per oz
I love the stuff cuz im a sucker for beading :)

Say what you will about that company, but man have they got a marketing scheme down pact. They do very well. Cant hate on that I guess.

They do make a few great products though.

I am not sure they actually make anything, except YouTube videos.

I think they may be exclusively re-labeling.

I think you may be right. But their marketing is awesome. They have their fans and a lot of people fooled.

My most expensive wax in my collection would be Black Label Synergy (which I did not pay full retail price for). Many have used it and have raved about it.

I also have Fuzion and Souveran, both outstanding waxes.

Not sure though I could ever not matter how much money I had spend over $2k on ONE car care product.

So whats the problem? You get free shipping, nice box and a free wrench.Thats a deal...

$2,499 is ridiculous, an attempt to cater to .01% ers who know little about this field. Bragging rights over champagne & caviar, look how shiny my Bentley is, the wax was the best as it cost...

Take the best carnuba & best coating available, marry them & it still not, close to that price. Perhaps they will sell a few, bet the profit margin, out a sight.

They should sell $100 buffing pads designed especially for that wax.

T1 Caranuba Wax, highest purity can be had for $29/lb. The math here is staggering with respect to margin.

Dude, you just gave them an idea. You should get royalties now.

But you can't put a price on the exclusiveness of having 'the one product to combine the warm lustrous shine of natural carnauba wax with the durable protection of advanced vehicle coatings' You'd never find a product like that in the Pinnacle Black Label line.

PBL paint coating.

I would love to know if there is a V7 clone/twin out there under another label. Would definitely pick up and give it a shot, assuming it's cheaper than what V7 goes for.

Smart Wax manufactures CG products. I thought this was common knowledge. I'll bet its same formula but different colors and scents.

I bought a bottle of V7 a few years ago , and the stuff didn't impress me, I don't consider it a spray sealant at all. As I think it contains alcohol as that is the "adapting blending technology" so they say.

For the money I will never buy it again.

I'm good using meguiars express wax.

I got 2 gallons of it and a spray bottle on AG during a sale for about 32 bucks. Vs paying 50 for one gallon

I was thinking the same thing...

Oh, I remember one of their earliest youtube vids selling Smart Wax before their CG stuff kicks off in high gear. I was thinking something like one of those late night infomercial products with silly names like Spray-O-Nator or something like that, instead of the 'boutique' V7.

Yeah, Express Wax is a Hall of Fame product. Brilliant stuff.

Funny about your experience with V7, because my current Express Wax is a complete dud. No shine, with almost no scent. It's a new gallon, too. lol
