I have a 2002 Jeep Wrangler with near-perfect paint... aside from swirl marks. Other than that, there aren't really any visible defects with my paint. I have 2 pictures for now to show it off, enjoy!
I have finished the hood so far, and I'll be detailing the rest of the paint in the coming days.
Here's what I did...
1. Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion (Elminated many of my swirls, but still left quite a few behind. Swirls aren't visible at these angles anyways)
2. Pinnacle Signature Series Paste
3. 24 hour curing time for that
4. Dodo Juice Orange Crush Paste (Layered on the Signature Series wax. Leaves a more glass-like smooth finish, also makes a very slight improvement to the depth of color.)
5. 24 more hours of curing time for the Orange Crush
6. Dodo Juice detailing spray
The only edits made to the following photos are auto-contrast and auto-color in photoshop. Simply to attempt to correct lighting issues. The hood photo was taken partially in the shade at the end of the day, I believe that's when it looks it's absolute best.
Let me know what you guys think! Also, if you know of any outstanding hand-application swirl removers, let me know! I'd prefer to keep abrasives to a minimum to preserve as much of my clear coat as possible. I'm just hoping to minimize the appearance of my swirl marks. Pinnacle's Paintwork Cleanser does a great job, but if there's anything better, let me know! Thanks!
If you'd like to see more pictures in the coming days, let me know!
