Here are a few images of a detail I recently accomplished. I was asked to complete a one step correction in order to remove swirls and waterspot etchings.

Vehicle washed using Meg's Shampoo Plus applied via lambswool.
Vehicle clayed using Meg's Smooth Surface Clay Kit.
Polishing was accomplished via LC CCS polishing pads and UF.

If picture quality is not up to par, I apologize; I have little to no photography experience. Either way, here they are.

Thanks for Looking!

Great job, I assume that is the Makita 6040 polisher?? You like it? Was thinking of getting that instaed of the Flex, but ultimately chose the Flex - hopefully they resolve the bp issue :-)

Anyway, I see you are using the 3M green tape - it's the 233+.... right? How do you like it, any glue sticking to car, trim, etc. Around the windows I see thinner tape - what is that?

Lastly, love the wheels - they go well with the car!!

The polisher is a Makita 9227. I'm not too familiar with the Makita 6040; however, I believe it doubles as a DA. The 9227 is strictly a rotary machine.

I'm not completely sure of the particular part number for the tape used in this detail; however, I suspect it is the 233 or something very similar. I like using this tape; it does leave a slight residue line when removed, however, I believe all tapes leave adhesive behind. I used the same tape for the entire vehicle; if the tape appears thinner in certain areas, its because it was tucked in; I believe it was 1/2".

Thanks,
Brandon
