Original owner washing and waxing by hand (and doing it all wrong) from the start. Stumbled upon Autogeek and the forum a few months back and haven't looked back. After plenty of videos and many forum posts, bought the PC 7424, some Meguiars 105/205 and M20 Polymer Sealant and started the revival. The color improvement was remarkable but still had many underlying swirls. I was a little afraid of putting too much muscle into it as I thought the clear coat must be pretty thin after all these years but more reading and videos convinced me to forge ahead. Thinking the PC might be holding me back some what, I invested in the Flex and gave it another try, this time with Meguiars Ultimate Compound/Polish and Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant 3.0.
The results are amazing to see 13 year old paint looking brand new with all traces of scratches/swirls gone. Granted I'm in So.Cal but the truck is outside 24/7 and gets moderate use.
Thanks to all here at the forum for your knowledge and support.
