Here is my new to me Yukon with 216,000 miles. I only had a few hours to work on it last weekend. Not bad for 13 year old paint in the salty DELMARVA area. Obviously Im new to this and have a lot to learn.
1. Simoniz Clay bar with Meguiar's Detailer (glass and paint)
2. Meguiar's Cleaner wax (paste) on glass and paint (sans windshield) applied via 1980's Chamberlain (like the garage door company) 10" random orbit buffer and new foam pads. The foam pads would not come clean, so I tossed them, cheap at Wallyworld thankfully.
3. Meguiar's Carnuba wax (paste) applied via same.
4. Blue Magic chrome polish for bumpers (great stuff!!!)

Maybe next year i will buy a real high speed buffer and try some polish. My old wax spreader worked great with the cleaner wax in removing fade, better than if done by hand. I just wanted it to be protected before winter comes. Sorry for the iPotato pics, looks better in person.

Nice job, Merc1973! Looks like it's ready for the next 200K. I love those older Yukons.

Thanks guys. I think it could use some improvement with a higher speed Buffer and other products when looking closer. Im just shocked at how well the so called wax spreader worked with the Meguiars products. I only paid $2500 for it. Super clean interior and only one owner who moving to FL the next day. I will revisit this thread next spring hopefully with even better reflection.
