2004 Cadillac XLR Paint Correction - Picture Heavy

Well, for all intents and purposes it's just a C6 Corvette, probably wouldn't be too hard to drop an LSX 454 in it....

Chances are a dozen or so people have already been there and done that...

Mike, it must be deja-vu. The XLR is my favorite car too. I plan to buy one this coming year. When I do, I hope to come down to AG and let you look it over.

Definitely bring it by and we'll warm it over like Stephan did on this one...

It's the hard body lines that give it such a cool and aggressive look...

Nicest looking Cadillac since the 1957, 58, 59 and 60 body styles were introduced...

Nice turn around! I would love to add one of those to my mini collection of cadillacs.

Thanks guys, these Cadillacs are some neat looking cars with a ton of potential. Just gotta make sure the paint looks how it should first.

The XLR looks amazing! Keep up the great work

Thanks Bobby. I was really surprised with some of the after pictures.

Cut with Meg MF cutting pads. Pads were primed with d300 and then m105 was used once the pads we're primed.

Brought the gloss back using m205 and white lake country pad.

Smaller pads were used for hard to reach sections. All done with GG and PCXP DAs.

Amazing results"!!!!!

If I may ask how much time was spent on the car from beginning to end, taking in consideration that you had some help.

Thanks Flash.

I think that this car took close to 7 hours. So about 14 man hours.

It had a great turn around, the MF system really impressed me on this correction! Nice write-up Stephan.
