Wow its been awhile sense I have posted and this place has blown up like crazy! with that said, hopfully some orginals can give me some help here or you can Mike!

2004 scion xb, has been bought, paint......... pass.side will need some new paint do to some rough areas that needs work.. but the rest of the car is far game.

Using a Megs DA, started with the least aggressive megs 205 and orange low pro medium pressure, did 5 Z passes and 5 N passes, nice and slow, speed 3-5 to let it really work it in. no results.

Next step, bumped it up, megs 105, blue low pro, again 5 Z passes, 5 N passes, speed 3-5, nice and slow, removed some spider webs, but no results.

I do not want to use a rotory, nor do I truly have the money to push for a rotory.

so what are my next steps, wool pad? different product?

Brad,

How much pressure were you applying? Pressure is a key part in how the abrasives cut through the clear. Are you sure you aren't putting swirls back in the paint?

I made sure to have a test spot just to make sure that I was not causing more damage then what I started with. The thing is I've used 205 and made our 07 corolla look dripping wet before, but my methods are not working for this xb.

And by saying I used medium pressure, weight of the machine plus maybe 5lbs, but the pad never stops rotating, pads always flat never digging. Always 1.5ft by 1.5ft area of work space slow passes

Have you tried orange and 105? The Megs MF system worked for my 2004 xB.

Not yet hoping next weekend I can try that combo, I've used 105 on the blue cyan, I also found out there is a yellow pad I might try too before wool pad

The cyan has more cut than the LC orange pad. I would get some MF pads.
