My detail job tomorrow first exotic car I'm doing so I'm amped to get to work. Not many swirls but it has been hacked by another detailer holograms every where. I'm thinking 205 megs microfiber cutting pad if that dosent work. Then D300 megs microfiber cutting pad and 5 inch lc hybrid Orange pads for small panels. Before pics water spotting holograms n swirls will post progress and more pics tomorrow. Will be doing lsp with megs 21 and megs 26. Can't wait to have this car in my control for a day or more beautiful automobile.
 
Kick some BOOTY!!!!! Can't wait for the pics....Remember Bentley Paint is pretty soft. It's easy to correct (IMO). An Orange Pad for correcting and White for Polishing is all you need (Lake Country Hybrids).

Way cool to get this too!!

To me, starting with 205 with a microfiber pad seems pretty aggressive, at least in the choice of pad, despite the 205 polish. Seems like an odd combination. Further, moving to D300 which is represented as a microfiber correction compound "if that doesn't work" seems ok, but then you're reducing the aggressiveness by using an orange pad.

I could be all wet, but why not try the 205 / orange (or even white) pad first and move up from there?

Should be a fun project - look forward to results!

No I'm using the lc hybrids for the smaller panels only with d300 but Ill try Orange pads n 205 instead thanks another pad I have is the old 7 inch megs yellow polish pads

I have done some expensive cars and some more affordable ones. My saying and theory is whether it is 2,000 or 2 million, you should be maintaining it. In this case, their is no preferential treatment needed here! Just do your best work and show how good you can do.

I'm the same way it is nice to do a amazing car and I love being able to do it. But as far as the quality of work I'm putting in the same as I would in any other full detail job. The reason I got this client is he's a dealer and I did one of his customers cars. mdx which I could have cheaped out on quality. But I did my best job he saw the car and told me he wants me to do a bentley next. If I had done a simple 1 step to that mdx I might not have got this car.

Bentley's and their bigger brother sure do have beautiful interiors. That leather is something else. And some of the carpet feels like the pile is two inches high.
 
The main drawback of the Phaeton's steel platform is weight. At 5358 pounds, the Bentley is more than 800 pounds heavier than the next-heaviest CL600.
 
Update doing the car tomorrow first thing customer was busy today but dropped it off before I closed down. Can't wait turns out there's a bunch of wax on the car I quoted him real low just because I needed the advertising this car will give me n he said he will send me client's. But I know for a fact once he sees the end result he will pay my price. I'm afraid to see what the paint looks like after clay though feel like a idoit right now rookie mistake 3 years in the game damn it .
 
Started the car went with 205 and a lc Orange pad for the front end. then did the roof and trunk lid with 205 and mf cutting pad because I wanted to speed up the job a bit. And I will stick with that combo for the 205 on doors n rear bumper/fenders. Cars coming out nice not too many defects but alot of holograms were in the paint and a few hard water spots that aren't coming out but small ones. Pics from today

thanks man im trying this is just 205 but the amount of clear coat bentley puts on their cars really makes it pop. next step is seal with megs 21 then a coat of megs 26 for more pop. i cant wait to get this finished and out in the sun flex swirl light helps alot but damn i wanna see it outside.
 
Finished product went with 205 and lc hybirds for the front end then rest of car with 205 and megs mf cutting disk. Lsp with megs 21 and a megs soft buff black pad. Came out amazing all swirls and holograms 95% removed and mirror finish !
 
Sunny Wow!! Beautiful work!! I hope the customer saw how you brought his/her baby back to life!! The shine and wet look is incredible!!
