2005 Mercedes Benz E500 Detail

It’s been at least a couple of years since I posted a detail of my wife’s 2005 E500. I gave her the car for Christmas in 2004. It’s hard to believe the car is almost 4 years old now. No paint correction was done. I keep the car in great shape and never took any before pictures.

Wash – Poorboy’s Super Slick & Suds with a white ShMitt
Paint – Pinnacle Liquid Souveran over Duragloss 501 Wheels –Duragloss 501
Windows and Glass Roof – Klasse All-In-One
Engine – Wolfgang Vinyl & Rubber Protectant
Rubber Weather Stripping – Wolfgang Vinyl & Rubber Protectant
Leather Wash – Connolly Leather Clener
Leather Conditioning – Pinnacle Leather Conditioner
Carport – sport clean with DP Carpet Cleaner
I think Pinnacle Liquid Souveran over Duragloss 501 is a great combination on white paint.

Awesome pics, looks brand new Gary. I would imagine that color interior would be pretty hard to keep clean, and you've done a great job considering it's almost 4 years old now.

Rsurfer, I like the smell or Pnnacle Leather Conditioner better then Connolly but I think Connolly leaves the leather softer. There are both great products.

Jimmie, thanks for reminding me that I need to detail my trailer. Right now I have my old Vette inside it because I have no where else to put it.

Matt, That light colored carpet is a PITA to keep clean. DP Carpet and Upholsterty Cleaner does a great job but I'm constantly cleaning it to keep it looking new. When I brought the car for my wife I purchase an extra pair of black floor matts and put them in the car before I gave it to her. I knew the light colored matts would be way to much work to if not impossible to keep them looking new.
