2005 Passat: MF D300 Paint correction and interior detail

Nice work as usual Rasky! That snow is something I don't miss! I hope we are done with it here in Ind. for the year...

just curious why did you decide not to use the D301 after D300?
also why did you finish with a rotary instead of the DA?

D301 on the finishing MF pads was leaving some very light marring behind on this paint. Since I was going to be using a dedicated sealant anyway, it also made more sense to use a regular finishing polish. No real reason for going with the rotary I guess...my hands were just sore and having worked on the car before I knew the paint responded well to the rotary/M205 combo, which was a pretty quick step.
