The new owner, Stefano, wanted a 1-step correction and attention to the Recaro leather seats. I found him on one of the local forums. He wanted to spruce up his newest Audi upgrade. The B7 S4, black on black, 6MT, STaSIS tuned was hands down a beauty to work on. Moving the S4 in and out of my garage and listening to the V8 growl was music to my ears.

The pics are sequential. I wanted to thoroughly document this detail but time was limited so I didn't get all the pictures I wanted.

It was a long weekend but worth it. Stefano was pretty stoked. Here's a pic he took.

WOW!

That's looking real nice now. It was in horrible shape originally. So many swirls! In the photo the owner took himself, the car looks like a brand new one, the way that piece of plastic between the two grills on the front looks you would think the car is brand new!

I see you're a Meguiars man through and through.

ewwwwwwww......... Audi's and an S4. I love those sedans and you did a very nice detail job on it. :dblthumb2:

Nice one! Maybe try the Menzerna polishes next time you have an Audi, my experience is that you get better results on hard paint with Menzerna. I only see one after picture with the sun, maybe it's te picture compression but it looks to me I see marring?

That is such an amazing machine.. All I want to know is did you give him some lessons on how to keep his car in that shape.. an not let it get like that again?

:dblthumb2: I wouldn't mind trying other products, it's just that Meg's has a product for almost everything.

Nice work.:dblthumb2:

Thanks.

This is a really nice pic! What kind of camera are you using?
That pic caught my eye as well, great work! How was correcting that Audi clear coat?
Thanks and I'll pass the word to my bro-in-law who took those fancy pics. I used a Canon Rebel XTi for the point and shoot and he used a Canon 50D (lens, different settings, and remote flash). The last pic was from the owner, don't know what camera he used.
The clear coat was hard. I had to tackle tight areas with M105 and D151 by hand.

It was a 1-step correction so not all defects were removed. There were some small areas of swirls and RIDS. Haven't had the chance to try the Menzerna line.

I gave him a few pointers. It wasn't his fault the car was in this shape. He recently upgraded to it and wanted to start fresh and clean with a detail. He was pretty happy with the outcome.

Very nice work

that is one seet ride. nice turnaround.
Thanks!

Very nice detail and the photos were done very well too. Loved the write up and I know all the other members do to. Thank you

Sweet job...She is looking awesome....
Sounds awesome and I'm sure drives like a beast w/ the STaSIS upgrades (software, wheels, diff, suspension, Alcon brakes...):awesome:

Awesome car. Im still mad the after market did not embrace the v8 S4. Such an awesome car.

Good work. Seeing that you did that with the PC, even bigger props. I dont know how I would ever go back to a PC after using the rotary.

Props to your bro on the pics.
