Hello Islander and others. I just got done doing my 2006 Azera and read Islander's thread on using RMG. I love this stuff. Here is the process that I used:

Washed
Clayed
Pinnacle Natural Brillance Swirl Remover PC on 5 with green pad
RMG with white pad PC on 5
Soveran Past Wax by hand
LSP Soveran Liquid Spray Wax for final Boost
Tires PB Bold & Bright
Cleaned Chrome Wheels with PB Spay & Wipe

She looks great. I'll have to try the PB Spray and Wipe on chrome. Take it the wash cleaned most of the brake dust and stuff off the wheels first?

Hi Joe-

These are some new pics of you're Azera! Coincidentially, I was showing my son the pics I just took of mine, and in the folder were the pics are filed, I showed him the pics you had on the Azera forum of the chrome wheels from ebay. You may remember when you posted the pics of the wheels way back then, somebody (me) asked about your detailing process and you mentioned, RMG, Pinnacle Soveriegn and the FK 425 Anti Static QD. While I went with a different wax, I used the RMG. I have not yet used the QD, but probably will next weekend, after I get a 2nd caot of wax on.

Back to the Azera. I really love the car, it's a great value. I got mine for $22.4K, although I had to fly to Cleveland to get it at that price. It was a nice 400 mile trip back. The car is a home run! My only knock on the car are the "clunk" and the paint. I can't speak for anything other than black, but I find it to be very soft (easily scratched), rather dull, and as you mentioned to me, she has some orange peel.

I know from the forums that you are also enjoying yours...and she looks just great! I see you've also added the hood ornament. Me, I'm hoping someone will come out with some stainless fender / wheel well trim. I'm also scouting out some new wheels & tires & will keep the 16" SE wheels & tires for winter much the same as you did with your painted 17" set.

Thanx for the original recommendation of RMG, Autogeek & FK 425.
