I traveled to Palm Beach to detail this 750 after the owner found me online.
He had it "detailed" before by someone who just washed and waxed it for him.
He knew he was looking for more and started searching online, finding me in the process.
He was going to get a new 7 series but decided against that, knowing that this one was still in great shape but just needed to be brought back to life.
When discussing what would be done, he kept stressing that this was not a show car and therefor did not need to be perfect.
As i started working on the paint i could see that it wouldn't need that much extra to get it looking better than he was anticipating.
In the end when he came out , i would say that he was extremely pleased and we his wife's brand new 640i convertible scheduled next.

How long did this take you and what polishing products did you use?

Great job!

This was about a 9 hour job total.
As with most jobs i do, i mix things up as i move along . From panel to panel i may make small changes to the process and products use.
therefor it's hard sometimes to say what i used unless i go into a detailed explanation of everything i did and i don't even have a set way in my methods. Each job i approach as a unique case.

That's pretty quick for a longer wheel base 7 series. I understand that you are changing gears as you go but what main polishes did you use if you don't mind. The reason I'm asking is that I might have to do a car like that.

I see, mostly SIP and 106 but i also used another polish that i won't mention on here because AG doesn't sell it.
That polish with a yellow Edge pad.
SIP/black 3M pad
106/Red Edge pad
