I recently did paint restoration on my 2006 G35 Coupe 80k miles that i picked up recently. It spend most of its life in Florida, Miami Beach.

Products Used:
- Meguiar's Claybar
- Lake Country CCS Foam 6.5 Yellow and Orange Pad w/ Meguiar's Ultimate Compound (m105 hasn't been delivered in time so had to use ultimate)
- Lake Country CCS Foam 6.5 White Pad 6.5 for M205
- Meguiar's Gold Class Carnuba Wax

Sorry for the lack of images, but when i work i try to stay focused lol.

Wow great turnaround! That thing was looking pretty bad - nice job. :xyxthumbs:

Welcome to AGO! I'm not too far away from your neck of the woods... just a couple of hours south!

Great job! I've always loved the inifiniti G coupes!

And Mazda.Mark of course it can be done!

Nice work and welcome aboard! Now that you have it cleaned up, it will be easy to keep it looking that nice.

Good GOD that paint was crapped out! I'd not have been able to drive a car looking like that.

You are really lucky though that the 105 wasn't available when you did your correction. Its so freaking hard to work with, AND it's pretty 'clear' (pun) that UC did the job just fine.:dblthumb2: Besides, they tend to have fairly soft paint and that old saying of use the least aggressive method really comes into play there.

I *do* drive a AX6 Laser Red 6MT. Nissan calls it Redline btw.

I'm not so sure your car is a 2006 though, unless the spoiler was installed after the sale. That rear spoiler stopped on the 2005 models. Starting in 2006 they went to a much narrower spoiler.:xyxthumbs:

Thank You! But keeping a black car clean is never easy. Go for a lap around the block and its no longer black :(

Good catch on the spoiler, the spoiler has been replaced by the previous owner to the older one for some reason i noticed that too the spoiler doesn't seem fully bolted either, i will have to torque it down more. But it is 2006 it says that when i look up the vin and on the title too. M105 has arrived and im planning on testing out on my parents Nissan Murano will see how it works.

UPDATE 5/23/2013
Well the car is dirty after rain that we have received, today i decided to clean out the exhaust tips because having a swirl free car and dirty exhaust tips is shiet, so here are the pictures.

Products used:
- Invisible Glass spray (used as lubricant, you can use windex too)

Great work, i will also use glass cleaner first followed by Aluminum polish. My Genesis runs extremely rich so my tips are black after a day of driving. lol

I don't think these exhaust tips been ever cleaned, the carbon build up was baked into the metal, steel wool saved it tho! :)

Great job on that G35 mate ! Great exhaust update also .
Thank You!
