Hey everyone,

Just recently purchased a new camera and an extra lens, so I thought I'd post some pictures of my car after a simple wash and QD.

Camera - Nikon D7000, 18-105VR, 50 1.8G.

Not many before's but it has not been washed in about a month.

I bought the same camera in December. I want to buy a fast 50mm also. How do you like that lens? I shot a lot of images at a Ringo and his All Star band concert on Wednesday night. I started shooting at 1200 asa then backed down to 800. The pictures came out great. The camera performs great at high ISO speeds. When you shoot raw it takes up a lot of HD space. Great camera, your going to love it.

I LOVE the lens, I wish I could have it as my regular walk around lens but just doesn't have the range I need. Both of my parents were pro photographers so I decided it was time to step up my camera (still learning). I really enjoy how clean the photos are even at a high ISO, amazing stuff!

Great job on the Imp. And you really were playing with the camera. Like messing with depth of field, do we? That is a great camera and lens combo. I would love to have one of the newer cameras but my D2X still keeps chugging along. Since retiring from the pro photography business, I can't justify more equipment.

Those were fun pics bro. I have been torn about which camera to get. My mom has the D5100 and likes it but she also has a Lycia and freeking LOVES it. There is such a huge difference in cameras. I'm torn between the Cannon and the Nikon. Why did you go Nikon?

Great car by the way. I have a 1996 Impala SS Black with Grey interior. I have people coming up to me all the time trying to buy it. Its only got 15k on it and looks better than new thanks to BFWD and Midnight sun lol. The only thing I want to change is the wheels because those are stock but I like the look of them and I'm not big on changing things especailly with it being in such great condition.

I went Nikon because I had one before and enjoyed it, also both of my parents are pro photographers and shoot nikon, so there are tons of lenses around.

I've always liked the older SS, they look great and can really get up and go! You have yourself a gem there.
