Today was finally the day that I got to try out the new formula of DP Premium Surface Shield. I "won" a bottle of it last month and this was the first time I was able to try it out. This is my girlfriend's car and it's about 3 months old. It's parked outside 24-7 and besides 2 washes by me and 1 tunnel wash the car has been completely uncared for. Here's the befores . . .

OK. So, I . . .

pre-washed the car w/ PB's Bug Squash
washed with Zymol Clear (trying to use it up)
clean wheels & tires with DP Wheel Cleaner
clean wheel wells with Meguiar's APC 4:1
tires dressed w/ DP Tire Gel
clay with Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay
polish with XMT #1 on Orande E2K pad
seal with DP PSS

Now it looks like this . . .

Overall, I like the new formula of DP PSS. It's a much softer look compared to many other sealants and it was easy on/off.

You should see what I did to her old car before she traded it in

She actually hasn't seen the car yet. She's out of town. Also, I'm curious to see what it will look like tomorrow after the sealant has had sufficient time to cure.

I LOVE IT! I'm a huge Volvo fan, my last car was an S80 T6 and I miss her terribly!!! You did a great job on this one, that is one HUGE transformation!

Very good job on a car. Looks like your girlfriend is a huge fan of Volvo. It's a very nice car, very safe.

The DP looks very nice. It gives the paint a very elegant classy looking glow IMHO. That white Volvo was something else! I don't think I've ever seen a car that dirty! You really turned it around!:applause:
