Sorry about that. I used CG's medium compound to polish b/c that's what I have. Megs 105/205 or similar works too. For the coating (UV sealer) I used spar urethane & mineral spirits mixed 50/50. I also wipe the lens w/ IPA after polishing & before applying the sealer. These took close to an hour. Maybe I just needed coffee.

Looks awesome, I just did the same thing with my parent's XC90 two weeks ago. They were a pain to do, took a bit to get the old sealant off. I stop at 2000 though and polish from there..

Just for you information Volvo recommends using 3m 600 / 3m 800/ then coat them with Glasurit HS clear coat that clear coat has a higher UV protection the normal clear coat . Also Volvo only pays .08 to preform this under warranty also all work is done by using a Da sander . So the time you spent wasn't that bad .

Interesting. I'll keep that in mind next time. Thought I was just getting old. I just hope you meant .8 not .08.

Actually I meant .80 LOL S60 Pays 2.0 hours were are suppose to remove the headlamps from the car which means you have to remove the bumper also.
