2007 Audi RS4 - Wash 'n Seal

Dont think I am, I am still weary about a V8 revving that high. They had to drop the E46 M3's redlines down 500rpms to keep peoples engines from exploding.

I am still not sold on the looks yet. And at $70K I may just step up to a GT3 RS. I am looking to add another car to the stable in the next few months so keep a look out!

Whatever you're getting FMINUS, don't get rid of your current beaut of an M3!!!

engine has more power, suspension, brakes are straight off the Gallardo etc, think regular 3 series vs M3, Vette vs Z06 version etc. I love the way the RS4 looks, but it drives like such a porker for its size, heavy little b*stard, you really feel the weight on the track. Engine is fantastic, rips right to redline witha wicked growl.

I personally, and I know Scott pry as well, can't wait for the 09' CTS-V. The new CTS has an awsome interior, and GM is looking to have the V b!tch slap the competition :righton: . I almost bought an E39 M5, and then drove an 05' V and it blew me away how good it was, M5 had the edge in the interior but everything else inlcuding handling went to the V, nevermind the mod capability blew the M5 outta the water.

But how about the exterior? The Europeans have that down like no one's business. It has to look good before I buy it, no matter how fast or slow it is.

The brakes on the Gallardo, Audi, Z06 and a lot of other high end cars are Brembo brakes. A lot of the calipers come painted and have the car manufacturer's name painted on them even though they are Brembo brakes.

I agree with you Scott, very few people can justify spending $70K on a car like this. But that just makes it even more unique!

Well for $70k i could buy on for Pirex, one for P1et and one for myself and THEN its the same price as ONE over here....

Sickening good looking car, and it got the detail it deserved, great work P1et.. Did he let you try drifting????

Yeah, $70K is nothing! Its what a A4 cost over here! Its sick :( Oh, can`t you buy one for me Truls? :p

But different sizes and specs, can't remember offhand but the specs for Gallardo spec brakes were used on the RS4 if I recall, probably why Audi would just state it uses "brakes from Gallardo" and dipped into the VAG parts bin lol.

I liked the edgy style of the last V especially in silver or black, new CTS looks sharp so can't wait to see what the 09' V will look like, new interior is awsome. Still think the RS4 is sharp looking, but it just drove like a heavy porker for its size, engine is fantastic but was expecting it to be quicker then it was, personally think the new M3 is ugly and RS4 beats it hands down in the looks department. Listen to an RS4 with custom exhaust, what a friggen sound, sounds like an exotic/american V8 combo.

There are number of different Brembo braking systems used. The difference in performance and cost can be very significant. I was just making the point that a lot of high end cars are using Brembo braking systems even though most manufacturers like Lamborghini, Porsche, Ferrari etc. are painting their name on the calipers.

Looks great! I love that car too!
Nice color! You don't see RS4 in that color to often. Too bad he don't got the real RS4 steering wheel.

for some reason audi's never caught my attention. Like i rather have my lexus IS over that and have the extra cash in my pocket. they look too much like the avg sedan to me

ChristR: the US version of the RS4 doesn't have the seats and the steering wheel like the Euro version does. A real shame. Strange thing is that the US R32 does have the flat bottom steering wheel!

SPiN: personally, I don't care f Jaorp cars too much since they're a dime a dozen. I know I better put my flame suit on!!!

But hey, to each his own!

After you look at an R8 you might change your mind.

Im going to keep it since all the other cars that I have cant qualify as a daily driver. But Im kind of tired of paying for maintenance on this POS.

Is it that bad? I never understood BMW warranties: why would you buy a brand new one when I you can buy a certified one with a 100,000 mile warranty on it. Seems like a no-brainer to me!
