2007 Black BMW 335i Correction - TLC Auto Detail

I'm not going to argue anymore, but I don't get why you are surprised with my reaction when you come in here and tell me my service looks like it is worth less than $200. So maybe you can just go and #### on someone elses thread to make yourself feel better.

Lol, did I say surprised?? For Christ's sake it's called a question. Take a minute and re-read the last few comments. Wow, talk about blown out of proportion.

again...very nice job!!! You do awesome work my friend!

now that is 'caked' on break dust! Great correction, looks good again.

WOW beautiful work. I tried correcting paint in that condition on a red jetta and didn't come close to the results you had. I only use a DA.. Would a higher speed rotary be required for that type of correction?

Thank you! I don't think a rotary is required for heavy correction, but it sure does make the compounding step go faster. With the Meguiars MF system and Surbuf pads, you can really get some good correction results with a PC/DA machine.

excellent work dude! one question... what RPM did you used it for polishing and Jeweled ?

Thank you Alex!

Dave,

I have an 2010 S4 Black coming in Next week for a 2 Step Correction and Seal. I can imagine that I will work just as hard as you did on this Beamer!! How you doing otherwise?

Hey buddy! I'm doing well, hope you are too!

As for the Audi, I would say their black is very similar to BMW black. I've done more BMW's than Audis, but from what I've seen they are very similar. The paints are on the hard side, but also mar VERY easily. It is always a battle when you are removing product. My only advice would be to pay attention to what you are doing, and have plenty of different, clean MF's at your disposal. I think I went through 3-4 times the amount of towels just trying to figure out what would and wouldn't mar the paint. One last thing, if you are using a rotary, let the paint cool down before you wipe. I've noticed that it mars much easier if it’s still warm or hot when you go to wipe it. Hope that helps, and I can't wait to see the results!

Thanks! What about the interior bothers you?

Im just used to putting the "lines" in the carpet lol still looks like a stellar job man
Oh ok, lol. I misunderstood you. I only do the lines when I shampoo the carpets, and this car didn't need that. Thanks again!

fabulous job man! black is a ##### to get right and even worse to keep right no matter what you top coat it with. mike and bobby g have taught me micro marring is part of life. you can only minimize it until your next buff out no matter what products you use, how you wash it, blow it dry or what you top coat you use. if you dont love detailing youll blow your brains out in frustration.

congrats.
