About two months old, and it is a daily driver

And it came with the free dealer induced rotary trails :D I saw a few on the hood. So I wanted to see were else they were hiding.

The Wash
Foam gun with dawn soap, and the white shmitt. No clay was needed at this point. It reveiled a few more spots from the dealer prep.

Tires/rims
I used the same mix, as not to waste it.A wheel brush and the 16" deep reach wheel brush was used. Pinnacle Black Onyx on tires and rims sealed with Dp Premium Surface Shield.

The Interior
Pinnacle Leather Conditioner on all the door leather, and the seats, console.Dp Interior Surface Protectant on all the trim(dash/door panels/ console)

The Gameplan
For the rotary trails I used a edge2k org. pad and Optimum polish. Two spots on the hood, and one one the roof. Then did the rest of the car, just in case I missed anything else.
Dp Premium Surface Shield Paint Sealent went on last.

Im so glad BMW has finally decided to step it up with thier interiors. I HATE BIMMER interiors! cheapo!

Great work, nice car. I love Pinnacle Leather Con.
Looking at the pic, that leather looks the same as King Ranch leather. Wonder if it's the same?

No way! I like Bimmer interiors. What European cars do you think have better interiors? (not including the mega cars)

I would go as low as Volkswagen! Audis also have very nice interiors, and Benz, you name it. I have always felt that BMW interiors look outdated, and materials are cheap.

If it werent for M and AMG tuned cars, I would stay far away from Euro cars, high price point, high maint, high price for mods, bad reliability, but my oh my how they handle at 170MPH!!!!!! :righton:

Not to get off topic from Ed's great detail but I think the high end English and Italian cars have the best interiors. There are some really great German cars but their interiors are not great in my opinion.

I completley agree! The only complaint I have on english cars is that that the leather is too soft and can be hard to clean if stained (RR and Bentleys)

Beautiful job on a beautiful car. Love DP SS myself. How hard was the paint on that new bimmer?

my 95 bmw interior looks brand new except for some wear on the side bolster of the drivers seat.... most cars by now owuld have a cracked dash or something along those lines... plus its just setup so good for driving, i dont think i could be in a better position for controlling the car...

back on topic though that 335 looks great! i loveeee those, just wish they werent so heavy!

Quickly back to sub-topic and then I'll stop I promise...
I've been so into bmw's for the last 10 years that I was blinded.
After reading the posts on this thread I went searching for other European cars' interiors.
Yup, you guys were right. I saw some really cool looking Italian and English interiors. Nice.
Even the Benz looked better I think. Don't tell my car that I was checking out other talent though... hehe.
Ok, sorry for the thread hijack...
