This is a 2007 Buick Lucerne I did a few weeks ago for a friend of mine. He called one day and asked if I could clean up his dads car for him and said that the interior was going to need some real help. He then went on to say one day he was at his dada’s house and saw some deep scratches on the door and front fender. He asked what happened and His dad told him there were some spots on the car and he had used a SOS pad to try and get them off. I told him I would do what I could but an SOS pad can do some real damage.

When I picked up the car the thing that concerned me the most was that where he had used the SOS pad there were also small dents and he had really scrubbed the paint aggressively. With the scratches being at the bottom of the dents it was going to be a real challenge to correct them fully without burning off the clear on the outer edges of the dent. I was able to achieve about 85% correction with wet sanding the scratches. Luckily the color lended to hiding them and the rest of the car was pretty straight forward no real surprises just awfully dirty inside..

It turned out great. Nice foam pictures.

Very nice detail. Those carpets were a mess in the before pics and came out great in the after shots.

Lots of effort on your part for it to come out so well. An interior that bad makes me wonder what the owner's house looks like inside......

Those are pretty stylish cars and a lot of work went into bringing it back from the trashy state it was in....Very nice work indeed!! :props:

Thanks everybody :) Yes it was a lot of work but those are the ones that give the most satisfaction.

I bet the owner was amazed!!! Superb job! What did you use to clean the carpets? Hot water extractor?

Thanks, It was a mixture of products but mostly APC + and a Bissell LGM Pro Heat. Blue Magic carpet and spot lifter works well also for the tough spots. The APC+ is sprayed on and agitated then extracted with the LGM using water only.

Did you buy it like that or was it just neglected. Either way, Awesome job.

Can you list what you used? My grandfather has a 2006 Buick Lacrosse with black marks all over the interior and dashboard. I've been washing it for him every month or so but I have no clue what to use to get it off.

Thanks :)

Products used are at the begining of the post.

Optimum Power Clean 3:1 and a soft brush works great for interior black marks.

Incredible. How long did it take to complete it from start to finish? And what dilution ratio for the apc+ did you use?
