Did a paint correction on this very low mileage Corvette. The car only had a couple thousand miles on it but the paint was in pretty rough shape.

Car showed up not very dirty, just a little dusty.

Wheel cleaner and APC doing its thing.

After a two bucket wash, being clayed, rinsed off again, and dried, I started on the paint. This was a test spot on the hood with my new Rupes 21. Microfiber cutting pad with some FG400 did the trick and didn't leave too much haze to clean up in the finishing stage. Used my new Rupes LHR75 for the tighter areas (definitely replacing my PC for 3 and 4" pads).

I don't even know what was going on with the interior.

Dash was the same way.

50/50 of the door cleaned and conditioned.

A couple after shots of this beast. (Camera lens fogged up and ruined the others.)

Great job :) what did you use for the paint correction?

Nice. What did you use on the interior to bring it back to life?

Nice work! Yet another beautiful car that someone trashed within the first 10k. What's up with the interior!!
Car looks great now!!!!

Nice turnaround.

Betting the owner treated the interior to a treatment of Armor All, then the vehicle got caught in a rainstorm with the top down.

I had an interior on a friends corvette look exactly like that. His son had just driven it down to FL from MA. The whole interior looked like he had been sanding spackle in the car the entire way down. The whole interior was covered in a white dust. Nothing that couldn't be fixed, but it took a while.

Nice work! Like the op said, it looks like the interior was out in the rain.

Yes! You did do a paint correction...And it looks great, indeed!! :xyxthumbs:

But the same thing can be said of your interior "correction" as well!!

BTW: I, too, am very interested in finding out what products you used on this gassed-out interior.

As I alluded to above:
Everything about/on the paint looks great except for:
That #!*&%# piece of GM's L.P.O.B.A.-engineering on the front clip...
and, of course: That's not of your doing.

Note:
From the GM "Engineering Standards Handbook":
L.P.O.B.A. = License Plate On Board Attachment

An aesthetic value assessment of this particular piece of GM's engineering
from a C6 Corvette owner's perspective:

L.P.O.B.A. = Liquid Poop On Brain Always.

Keep up the good work!

For everyone who asked about the interior, I used Adam's Leather and Interior Cleaner and Adam's Leather Conditioner.

Question op : what did you use fpr tires & wheels please .
I used Adam's Deep Wheel Cleaner (I like Sonax FE a little better, but I just want to use this up) and Adam's All Purpose Cleaner. A lot of Adam's products are underrated I think, but I don't like their polishes because they don't offer the correction I'm looking for. I use Menzerna almost exclusively.

At an Adam's detailing clinic I attended they talked about the white powder that appears on dash and door panels as being some sort of mold release compound that works its way out of the panel in heat.

Too many throw off Adams because of their high price and let's call it an enthusiastic fan base. I've used almost all their products sans polishes, and find them to be great as a whole. Easy, user friendly, and the support videos are top notch. It's too bad their products are priced sky high or else I would be using them a lot more.

I never tried Adam's interior cleaners.
As said sky high prices.
The interior came out great though.
Great Job OP

Have you tried their new polishes?

I haven't tried their new polishes. They market more towards a hobbyist detailer, so when time is money, their polishes just take too long to correct. If you have tried them though, I would be happy to hear what you thought about them.
