This will be my first time detailing a car. I've washed my own car before at home and waxed but not truly detailed. (Ok I'm not fully detailing because I'm not polishing but oh well.)

Heres the list of products I'll be using.

Exterior:

P21S Total Auto Wash (bugs)
Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Gloss
Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay
ONR (clay lube and I'll use it for washes after I seal/wax)
Blackfire Wet Diamond
S100 Carnauba Wax

Wheels and Tires:

P21S (tire cleaner)
Sonax Wheel Cleaner w/ Daytona Jr. brush
Poorboy's Wheel Sealant (and for exhaust)
Wolfgang Black Diamond Tire Gel

Interior:

303 Fabric/Vinyl Cleaner
303 High Tech Fabric Guard
303 Aerospace Protectant

Method:

1. Rinse car first
2. Use Sonax to clean wheels
3. Use P21S to clean tires with tire brush
4. Use P21S on bugs
5. Two bucket method with grit guard in rinse bucket.
6. Take sheepskin mitt and dunk in the soap bucket. Squeeze out over paint to pre soak the paint.
7. Go through the panels. Roof and windshield/back window. Hood. Trunk. Then the side of the car. Rinse mitt after every panel.
8. Rinse car with misting water.
9. Sheeting method
10. Blot dry with waffle weave towel
11. Clay with ONR as lube
12. Apply Blackfire with foam applicator
13. Seal and wax tires/wheels/exhaust
Haven't figured out how many coats of blackfire I should use. (I haven't even gotten my order from autogeek, just wanted to make a post so I can update it when I do the detailing. Stay tuned!

And if you have any tips on how I should change my method then go ahead and tell me

I would seal tires and finishes after you do interior , Vaccum out the inside a dress dash and the leather, then finish off the car as a whole with tires and wax

So after clay then do interior and then wax/seal?

Whats the difference of this than clay then wax/seal then interior?

After you clay the car down, I would then do all of the interior

Washed my car because I was getting anxious for my new products and they aren't here yet, and it needed it! Used some basic car wash my dad had in his garage. He did have a wheel brush he just bought that I ordered! (not the same but it was a wheel brush and my wheels were caked in brake dust). I couldn't get all of the bugs off either

Some swirls that you can see in the little sunlight there is today (these aren't coming out because I have no machine, might get one for christmas though)

Here's the brake dust. I just used some degreaser my dad had and soap. Maybe the SONAX will take it off?

Is this clear coat coming off? The square is a headlight washer

Is this touch up paint? There are a pretty good amount of spots on my car that needs touching up, but I don't think this is a very good job.

I'm ready for my shipment!!

It looks to me that the paint has chipped around the headlight washer. Not clear coat failure.

It appears that it could of been that part has been touched up before, and when the headlight washer deployed...it took the paint with it.

It's just one of the headlight washers, and I can feel where the edge of the paint is, the paint closest to the washer is lower than the rest of the paint.
