This car belongs to a family member that lives in Virginia and was in desperate need of a thorough cleaning inside and out. I went down to visit for the weekend and looked at the car, and after some discussion we had settled on my Americoat Package with a Single-Stage Paint Correction along with a Standard Interior Detail.

Pictures Of The Car As It Arrived

As you can see in the above picture the vehicle was quite dirty with debri from a tree that it is parked under daily.

These floor mats did a great job keeping the carpets clean and hold most of the debri build up on them. Although there was still a good amount of dog hair on the carpet areas around the mats.

This image is of the passenger side rear quarter panel and tail light. As you can the car is heavily swirled.

Single-Stage Paint Correction Process
I performed a test spot using my Rupes LHR 15 and Americana Car Care Ameridepth w/ a 5.5" white (polishing) Lake Country flat pad. This combination was providing the desired correction I was looking for while and finished down very nice and glossy on this white paint. This is the process I used on the rest of the car. I used my Rupes 75E with 3" white (polishing) Lake Country flat pads in the tighter areas of the car

Final Product After Americoat Coating

This image was taken the morning after I applied the coating and let it sit over night. The gloss was amazing for a white car.

The white was very intense and almost seems to glow in bright sunlight now.

Interior Cleaning Process And Final Product
The inteior of the vehicle wash thoroughly swept and the carpets were brushed with a rubber brush to remove the dog hair. The seats all and the panels were scrubbed with Meguiars APC+ leaving a nice clean surface. The interior trim was then dressed with Meguiars Quik Interior Detailer, and the seats were treated with Lexol Leather Conditioner.

As usual thanks for looking!

Nice work and it's cool to see someone go over and beyond on a "regular" car. Nice photography as well. It really shows the "details." It's also cool to see somebody use a different set of products than the "norm." I haven't had a chance to read up much on Americoat products. How are you liking them?

Thanks for the comments guys, I was really happy with how it came out as was my sister-in-law and brother. They said it never looked that good since while they owned it.

Jeremy, I am really liking the Americana Products I have used so far. Their compounds and polishes work great, and I am really liking Americoat. I have another Americoat job on a Pontiac Torrent for this weekend, and when I get the free time I am plan on coating my wife's Tahoe in it also.

Nice, thanks for the quick reply. You do great work and it's cool to hear the your family was super excited about the job you did.

Looks great Kevin, nice documentation to complement also. Keep up the great work.

Most of these type of Honda never really see a bath but at least you gave this one the TLC its been screaming for keep up the excelent work

Nice work! I have a family member with the same car that I'll have to do in the near future and never realized Honda white was single stage.
