2008 Infiniti G37S Detail

This beautiful Infinity G37S suffered from dealer detail syndrome! The client brought this brand new G37S to the dealer on a couple occasions where the dealer offered the dreaded "free detail" (you're really paying for it by how bad the usually hack the car up!). As is typical in these situations, there were several swirls and some deeper scratches that were obviously inflicted from poor washing and drying techniques.

What an awesome car! 330 HP, paddle shifters and one of the best interiors I've seen!Click on any of the pictures to go to the full write-up with all the pictures...

I used Menzerna SIP / 106FF on this car. I've got to say... towards the end, I switched from 106ff to SYSTEM ONE X3 and I have to say definitively, that I think X3 cuts faster and finishes as good as 106ff. I was already on my last panel but I regretted that I didn't use it the whole time.

Thanks!

Nice job, and sweet car, you got that black looking great again.

Good job Dan! I saw it over at SVTP and forgot to comment.

Nice job, but I'm a little confused. Your post say that you used System one towards the end, but your write up does not mentioned the System one. Other than being faster, did you notice any difference with System one vrs. 106? Sorry read your post again and you did say they finished about the same, but system one was a lot faster. Again, nice job on that black beauty.

One thing about these nanopolishes is that they seem to dust a ton. The 106ff was dusting in those conditions quite a bit. The S1X3 definitely seemed to dust a bit less.

Terrific work. Really cool how clicking on the photo takes you to the blog write up, so that you did not have to re-post everything. ;)

The background of the grafitti wall would make a GREAT night shot with the right lighting. [tripod / long exposure time]

Using a blog makes it A LOT easier when you want to post in multiple forums.

I've been wanting to try taking a picture there at dusk. I may have to try that with my 99 Cobra.

Great Job! So the System X3 worked better than the Menzerna? WOW!

Excellant save of dealer screwup. I own an Infiniti cpe. and I always make sure they understand "do not wash' when I go in for service and yet they have still washed the car. Oh well, it gives me a reason to get out the Flex and the Menzurna to repair their damage.
