2008 Mazdaspeed3 Paint Restoration

Well, the car has 71k miles and its a 2008, the paint well.. wasn't pretty, swirls, water spots, list goes on. Things i noticed on this car is that i found the paint to be very hard compared to Infiniti, Nissan, Lexus, and Toyota.

Anyways, here is how it went down. Enjoy

- Plastic Razor Blade
- Yellow Foam Applicator Pad
- 2 Buckets
- 2 microfiber washing mitts (one for the wheels, one for the car)
- Lake Country CCS Foam 6.5 Orange Pad
- Lake Country CCS Foam 6.5 White Pad
- Optimum Microfiber Cutting 6.25 Pad
- Optimum Microfiber Polishing 6.25 Pad
- Various brushes for wheels
- DI Fine Grade Clay Bar
- Menzerna Power Lock Polymer Sealant
- Wolfgang Finishing Glaze 3.0
- Meguiar's Gold Class Carnuba Wax
- Meguiar's Tire Shine
- Meguiar's Gold Class Car wash soap (used to wash the car and the wheels)
- Meguiar's M105
- Meguiar's M205
- Invisible Glass

Wheels

Dirt stuck into the rubber

Solution? Soap and plastic razor blade

And clean

Dull Paint

Dirty with water spots

Door (right corrected, left before)

Roof (left corrected, right before)

Roof finished

Fender

Doors

No that is not compound on that little ledge where the trunk closes. Its faded

Sideskirts

And 95% done (windows needed cleaning)

And i just noticed my license plate bulb is out

Reflections

Metallic flakes <3

long time gone, i was in Lithuania and Poland for a month that's why i wasn't as active too, but i will soon have more write ups
