So, as detailers we're often too busy to care for our own cars as well as we should. My fiance's ride is no exception to this rule. I've unfortunately been even busier than usual as my front porch collapsed and I've been working on replacing it with a beautiful new Trex deck... Unfortunately, thanks to a screw up in my order I had some extra time on my hands today (One rail short!)

So... Back to detailing. I came from a manufacturing background and remembered all about functionality and the 5S method. So, I put it to use in my own shop! I have made everything more efficient, reachable and have drastically cut down on my detail time thanks to it! My fiance's car was the first to get the royal treatment with the new setup. Unfortunately, it hadn't really been cared for since I had a major surgery this time last year... So it was a bit rough!

Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine
Optimum Power Clean 1:1 on tires/wheel wells
806 WorX Torch on wheels via Tornador
Iron-X Decon
Iron-X Paste in some heavily contaminated areas
Optimum Hyper System (Hyper Compound/Hyper Polish)
Damp ONR wipedown via 16x16 towel
Optimum Gloss Coat
Optimum Opti-Bond 1:1 via HVLP Sprayer (Tires/Wheel wells)

My fiance came on out to help me with the interior. Unfortunately, she travels a lot for work and it's absolutely disgusting inside! There's a few science projects left over in food containers. Just a light cleaning as there was minimal stains, just loose debris.

I really can't get enough of this new formula of Gloss Coat. The name... It simply is perfect for the product. I've dealt with a lot of coatings now, but this is just one of my favorite when it comes to gloss! And it's so easy to use with the Hyper system of polishing...

Looks great! I envy your garage space:) So much potential with all that open space wow.

The garage space is my pride and joy! I have a lot of work left to do, unfortunately. But it's come a long way and will only go farther! Next up is flooring.

Thanks guys. I know she was happy with it at work today!
