2009 Honda CRV, dark blue

Going to detail my 09 Honda CRV today. I have a Flex buffer. Wondering if I can use Wolfgang TSR on the dark blue paint with an orange light cutting pad without doing more harm than good. My son has been driving it and has to park in student parking. Not good for paint to say the least! It needs some serious TLC. Thanks!
