This is my 2009 IS250 - I don't have any before pictures of the condition of the paint, but it was in good shape with just the typical swirls and scratches from being a daily driver that is washed once a week.

These are from earlier in the Summer, I just never got around to posting them.

Process:
-Washed with CG Citrus Wash and Gloss
-Dried with Waffle Weave Microfiber
-Clayed with DI Fine Clay with ONR as Lube
-Compounded with M105 (where needed)
-Polished with M205
-Sealed with CG Blacklight
-Topped with CG Hybrid V7
-Wheels with P21S
-Tires with Meg's Endurance Gel
-Glass Stoner's IG

Thanks for looking!

Love how the BL & V7 turned out on the car. The pictures look really good. Is your day job a photographer?

Thanks for the kind words, but I am actually an engineer by day, hobbyist by night/weekend.

Photography is a big part of my life though, so I've spent much time (and money!) learning and practicing it. I hadn't done much car photography before I got into detailing, now I like to offer my clients a photo session (on the house) if they're interested!

Nice work!!!! I can't wait to get a hold of BL and V7. I'm jealous. :props:

Will you look at that!

The detail came out great and I love the photos. :props:

Photo composition is very important. Being sure you've included everything you want the viewer to see is vitally important but what's equally important are all those things we don't see that will show up in the photo AFTER it's taken...like a telephone poll right in the middle of the roof...or a wash bucket in the background....

Lighting contributes greatly in the looks and effects of the subject. These photos appear to taken at different times of the day. Midday bight sunshine bring out a lot of detail and when colors are there truest. Late afternoon sun on the other hand lends itself to more warmer tones and long shadows.

^All of these (except the very last one) were taken at around 5PM in the middle of the Summer, not quite the "golden hour" but still pleasing light. I moved into the shade for most of them and added off camera flash for some fill in dark areas.

I did not pay close enough attention to some of the poles, however I was focused more on showing off the paint than the car as a whole so I will forgive myself this time. :D

The very last picture, as you guessed, was taken much later in the day - and in fact several months later on Labor Day along with these.
