Every year for car show season I go all out on my Shelby. I'm a long time Poorboy's user, & still love their products. This year, however, I'm experimenting with some different stuff. I used Poorboy's SSR2 to get rid of the inevitable swirls. I then polished with HD Polish, & gave it a coat of Menzerna PL, followed by a coat of Menzerna CL. LOVE the slickness of Menzerna!

I agree, I did a Buick Enclave before going on vacation and I did a full decon on it with Iron-Out and then clayed the surface. Wipe down with Eraser and then machine applied Menz Powerlok. Allowed it to set and then buffed it off easily. Very smooth and slick finish.

Good job on the Shelby as well.

Thanx, all! I loved the finish after the PL, but I'm just an old-fashioned fan of layering wax over sealant. That's why I put the CL on top. I like the added layer of protection.
 
Wonder how s CL to apply , & the time you put it on before buffing it off .
 
I put it on really light with my PC/blue pad, & did the whole car before wiping it off. Super easy to both apply & remove. I'm normally not too crazy about liquid waxes, but CL is pretty nice. Leaves the same slick feeling as the PL sealant does.

Thanx for the comeback mate ! So it s a keeper . Will need some .
 
Drool, I love powerlock, it's my go to sealant for client cars if they don't have a preference. Never used color lock, think it's worth it to layer it on top of pl?

Flawless work on that paintwork you can actually find yourself getting lost in those beautiful refection's
 
THAT is stunning gloss! I cannot imagine any other Mustang or, for that matter, any other car looking that good for your car show season. Beautiful work.

I'm not sure I noticed much of a difference in appearance, I just like the added layer of protection.
