2009 Sliver Jeep SRT8 Detail

This is a regular maintenance wash/detail for me…

Products used:
• 4 buckets with grit guards (Reno Depot for wheels and Canadian tire for paint)
• 2 wash mitts (green for wheels and yellow for paint)
• Karcher Pressure washer
• Foam Lance
• Hose with quick connects and quick shut off valves
• 6x Eagle Edgeless Microfibers (orange-wax)
• 3x WW towels (1 large 2 small)
• 2x Glass Microfibers (light blue)
• 8x Edgeless Microfibers (white-door jambs)
• 12x Misc. Microfibers to dry the wheels (green, and blue)
• Mr. Pink Soap (4oz in two buckers and in foam lance)
• Optimum No Rinse (one cap in paint wash bucket)
• Stoner Invisible Glass
• Ultimate Waterless Wash plus(+) for door jambs and drying aid
• Extreme Shine Oil Based Sprayable Dressing
• Finish Kare 1000P
• Mothers Metal Polish
• Wheel Woolley’s
• Detailing Brush
• Foam applicators (wheels, trim, LSP)

I detailed my Jeep less than a week ago but it’s daily driven and the weather has been bad. My last detail I did the interior and trim/rubber, and applied a 2nd coat of FK-1000P.

Before pictures:















My wash process:
Pressure washer rinse
Foam lance (dwell 5mins)
Flood rinse (inspect)
2 bucket wash the wheels, exhaust, and door jambs
2 bucket wash (4oz Mr. Pink + 1 cap of ONR, yellow wash mitt)
Flood rinse
Dry (inspect)
Apply LSP in areas needing

No comments, everything looks perfect, especially the picture with almost falling from the wooden table bucket :laughing:
Maybe there are other car care specialists in Montreal but if I had to chose it would be only you, no need to look somewhere else.
Forward it to your customers & add what I say & see:
You will make any car & people inside look like celebrities, now go & get your Oscar.
I am impressed to the maximum & will look at it again in the evening.
 
Looks amazing. I've always wanted one of those model year SRT8 Jeeps. They look menacing and haul ass when built right.

I can't imagine how many pics there will be if you do a paint correction write up... Looks awesome and nice shots with the DSLR.

Im the MAN

Unfortunately, I only detail my own car and the occasional friend or family members car. I don't detail for a living just as a hobby/passion. Honestly, there's something relaxing about detailing for me. I just get lost in the moment with the car and especially the drive, countless times more rewarding than any desk job!

I already did correct the paint ;)

I have an orange peel removal post but not as many pictures cuz I was working with the DA the whole time... LOL

Your SRT does look great! Especially since you got rid of all the OP. Have you put any thought into coating your ride?

Yes, on a daily basis especially with the FK-1000P fly attraction issue I'm having. I'm just worried it won't look as good as I want and it will be impossible to strip or the application goes badly (least-likely).

I keep wondering what coating provides the most gloss (durability is secondary to me). I keep reading and seeing good things about Gloss Coat, but I find Modesta Coating's look the best (just not sure where to get some in Canada).

It's about to get a lot sweeter... My racing/lowering coil overs and custom upper control arms just arrived (I not into the stanced look). I also plan to put a custom hood (CF or painted) and some forced injection (turbo) but I'm not there yet financially.

Modesta is very nice. I have never applied it myself, but seen a few cars with it. For "Non Pro" coatings, I feel CQuartz UK is hard to beat in looks and durability. If you can knock down the OP on your entire ride with a PC & denim pads, applying a coating will be nothin. Also Gtechniq EXO looks great as well.

Yeah, CQuarts UK has been on my wishlist for over a year, but still I have yet to see it on a silver car and be blown away.
