Hey guys, thought I would share my new to me STI. Just picked it up last week and the paint was in horrible condition. The previous owner neglected the paint pretty bad. There wasn't even any sort of protection for paint at all on it.

Sorry I don't have any before shots, I couldn't seem to get the camera on the right setting to capture the condition it was in.

Products used:
Megs 205
3M Ultrafina
WG Fuzion
Reload
Aquapel

The quality on the first two shots are kind of bad, they were taken from my phone.

All taped up(might have went a little overboard)-

Thanks for looking!

Fantastic, WRB is my favorite color on an STI. I think you went quite a bit overboard on the tape, how many rolls did you go through? ;)

This picture is my favorite:

Haha a roll of the wide stuff and about quarter of a roll of the thin tape. I didn't really feel like cleaning the all the nook and crannies of the grille area.

Thanks guys!

Beautiful job!

On the M3 I just did I went through 2 rolls of half inch and 1 roll of 2 inch blue tape! I like to mask as much as possible!

Very good looking STI. I have always wanted one just haven't got to one yet.

They say the 1st step in tape recovery is admitting you have a problem. Haha looks great, the is the best color.

Looks great! I would much rather over tape something than either damage the plastics or chase all of the extra polish on all of the trim.

Thanks for the good words guys!

very nice what do u have done to it

I haven't done anything to it yet. The previous owner installed a 3inch cat back about 2 weeks before I bought it. I still have an extended warranty on it, so its going to stay stock for a long time.

Well I finally got around to tackling the engine bay, it was pretty dirty for only having 22k on it.

Products used-
DP Engine Degreaser
DP Exterior Cleaner
CarPro Perl, 1:2 ratio

It's not anywhere near perfect but for a daily driver I'm pretty happy with the outcome.

Looks good! Nice job...definitely over board with the tape, haha. But, it's a new vehicle...so I understand, lol.
